Notes:

Heyyy! It's my first time writing so I hope you don't mind!! Also NEVER SAID THAT THESE CHARACTERS ACTED CANON!!! This happens between the time of Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: No Way Home, this is a bit off MCU canon, as well as canon period. BUT TRUST THIS WILL MAKE SENSE!! I plan on making this the first story, which then lead to a surprise!

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: Smells like teen spirit

Chapter Text

Spider-Man has been following Wilson Fisk, aka, Kingpin. He had some intel about Kingpin having a warehouse of shipment here, and now he is stalking the outside of it waiting for someone or something to make a move. An hour later he finally sees a black suv pull up and out comes a tall lanky man with black rimmed glasses. He was wearing a black suit and carried a suitcase. He was real fancy looking, at least to Spider-man. The man walks up to the door and is greeted by another man. Spider-man wonders if this is the best time to sneak in and get information, but to his surprise, another man comes out of the shadow, complete stealth like to the point where Spider-man’s spider sense couldn’t even pick up on him. He was stunned to say the least, but also impressed at how fast the guy moved. He couldn’t make out who it was but still followed his lead and snuck up a few feet away from him. He finally was able to see who it was, Daredevil, the Daredevil. Peter’s all time favorite vigilante! His favorite hero is Iron-man, yes, but favorite vigilante, it has to be Daredevil.

He walks closer, trying to contain his excitement in fighting alongside Daredevil, but then, once he gets to a closer range, Daredevil has him in a headlock before he could even realize he has even moved.

“What the fuck kid, what are you doing here?” Daredevil growls out.

“I, uh, I was looking into Kingpin, and all my info led me here!” Spider-Man chokes out trying to pry Daredevil’s arm off his neck. Daredevil finally lets go of his neck and sighs.

“Alright, look kid,” he says after a few seconds of contemplating “don’t get too hurt, you getting that close to me and I didn’t notice ‘till I got you, is impressive to say the least.” Peter beams under his mask, his favorite vigilante said he was impressive!

“Aye-aye, captain!” Spider-Man salutes. Daredevil chuckles and starts to move into the warehouse. They sneak into the warehouse and see the lanky man, who Peter is going to nick-name Lanky, talking to a guy with a heavy accent.

“Tell him that shipment is going slow.” The guy with the heavy accent says.

“Of course, that is why I am here, Vladimir, my boss is wondering why only 4 shipments have gone out since our last meeting.” Lanky says. Spider-man’s curiosity is piqued by the shipments. He assumes they are shipping out drugs, that much is implied, but only 4? To his information, the last meeting was estimated to be 3 months ago, when Spider-man crashed it. He would have shipped more out by this time. Unimpressed.

“Yeah, well, our friends in red are making it hard to ship these things out. Our little spider crashed the meeting, then the devil came and started kicking our men’s asses at each dock.” Vladimir responds, pinching his nose bridge.

“Don’t worry about our spider, I have something planned for him.” Lanky says mischievously. He walks out of the warehouse and leaves the russians.

Daredevil disappears from Peter’s sight and rushes a group of guys who are packing up one of the crates with white bags. He punches one in the stomach and kicks him towards two other men, pushing them off balance and falling. He then punches another guy and does a flippy, flying, kick and the man goes down. Peter is in awe as he watches the kick, wondering if he would be able to do that. He snaps out of his thoughts and swings into another group and kicks a guy down. He shoots a web and pulls a guy in and punches him. Peter looks back at daredevil and sees he is holding it out on his own, being able to fight off at least 8 guys at the same time. Peter’s eyes widen at how amazing he is at fights, his swift, yet strong punches always finds a guy's face, his flashy kicks knocking down his opponent, Peter is in shock watching his fighting. It almost looks like a dance, rather than brutally hurting others. He gets snapped back into reality when a punch lands on his face, he gets knocked back but it only catches him off guard. He lifts himself up from his webs and kicks a few opponents down. Daredevil glanced over when he heard Peter get punched, but got back to his fight. They finally finished off the bad guys, but the main guy who seemed to be running the operation, was gone. Daredevil lets out a soft curse as he kicks one of the crates. Peter is more amused at how Daredevil’s fighting was. He walks up to him, careful to not get back into the headlock.

“Mr. Daredevil, sir?” Peter says cautiously, trying not to piss him off.

“What is it, kid?” Daredevil says facing Peter, his posture softening as if he knew Peter was weary about it.

“How did you do those flying, flippy kicks? They were so amazing to watch!” Peter blurts out, earning a Daredevil chuckle.

“You want to learn how to do it?” he responds, his voice still hard yet filled with amusement. Peter beams after getting asked, he is practically radiating as he answers.

“Are You going to teach me how? Really? Wow, Mr. Daredevil, this is so awesome of you!” He practically spews out.

“You know you don’t have to call me Mr. all the time, right?” He says as he puts his hands on his hips. Peter blushes in embarrassment and apologizes. Daredevil hands him a burner phone.

“Here, I’ll text you a time and meeting place soon, kid.” Daredevil then looks at the crate he kicked and sighs. Then pulls out his burner phone and dials a number on it and walks away. Peter holds his new burner phone with Daredevil’s number in it, just as he starts to walk away, Daredevil calls him again.

“Sorry about that, I had to call the police to deal with,” he looks around at the crates, “this mess. But the name’s Mike.” Peter was so shocked that after he was able to make sense of what happened, Mike was gone. After the rodeo that happened in the warehouse, Peter heads back to his apartment, which he had to move into after Aunt May had moved away. He barely had enough energy to make it to the couch where a tall blonde was sitting, clicking through channels in his boxers.

“Hey Pete, how was patrol today?” Johnny Storm says without looking away from the T.V. Peter always felt safe when he saw Johnny after patrol. He can’t explain why, but when he sees him he just feels relief and comfort. His face couldn’t hold back a gentle smile as he headed towards the couch. Peter flopped onto the couch next to Johnny and laid his head against the armrest. Johnny watches as Peter gets comfortable and tucks his legs between them. When Peter does this after a long day, Johnny just knows that Peter wants to lay his legs across him, so he gently pulls his legs to lay in his lap.

“Patrol was fine today, found a warehouse Kingpin used to transport his “goods” but me and Daredevil caught them before anything.” Peter explains, stretching his legs out and making his body the ceiling, slowly closing his eyes. He loves telling Johnny about his missions, he loves the way Johnny just listens to him ramble about nerdy stuff. But this time, Johnny was a bit too quiet that Peter notices and makes him wonder if he said something wrong.

“Daredevil? As in Hell’s Kitchen’s Devil? How did that happen?” Johnny finally says, calming Peter down a bit. To his surprise, Peter never wants to make Johnny disappointed in him, he doesn’t know exactly why, but he feels horrible after hearing Jonny’s tone. He wonders if he was upset that he partnered up with Daredevil after refusing to team up with Johnny.

“I, um, yeah? Is that a bad thing?” Peter asks as his chest beats with anxiety.

“I just wondered how that happened. I mean you never wanted to team up with me.” Johnny confesses. Peter calms down after hearing Johnny just wanted to hear what happened. He then explained how he got information about Kingpin’s warehouse and stalking the entrance, then how he ended up teaming up with Daredevil. Johnny’s face softens as Peter continues on rambling until he falls asleep. He loves hearing Peter ramble.
