"Wait. You killed Torbin without the poison," A note of excitement crept into his tone as he walked closer to her, "He will be so pleased."
His gaze trailed down her body. Osha forced her breath to remain even, realizing she might have landed in a situation she couldn't control. Her heart calmed as he smiled at her, her mind a mantra of he doesn't know, he doesn't know, he doesn't know.
"No, I used it," She tried to channel her sister, "I just wanted to thank you."
He'd bitten his lip while she spoke, and when she finished his eyes once again ran down the length of her form. He stood up straight, and she noticed for the first time how much taller than her he was. He leaned in, and she craned her neck slightly to keep his face in view. Her eyes dropped to his lips as he licked them before speaking.
"You look," He paused, "Exactly like her."
His voice had changed, dropping slightly as he gazed into her eyes. Osha braced herself as she stepped backward, drawing her blaster in the same motion.
