When his phone buzzes Satoru can't hide the Cheshire cat grin that spreads across his face. This was the text he'd been waiting for, he's not even trying to pay attention to Ijichi’s nervous stuttering about some report that's overdue.
“Sorry Ijichi but you're going to have to manage without me for a few days” his voice is light and teasing, he's the happiest he's been since before last Christmas eve.
