Summary
There's a cup next to him, rocks shiny and dark from the water spilled, and he pieces together another mystery. Tav leans down to fill the cup with the bruised arm, letting the unscathed one do the work of holding himself up.
Cautiously, Halsin comments, “That seems exhausting.”
“It is.”
He pours the water out again, this time onto his hair. Most of it misses the mark and Halsin's decently sure that it's because he can't lift his arm high enough.
“Would you like help?” he tries.
