It was yet another gloomy night, rain poured in in a torrential downpour. As I made my way up, my heart yearned for the ending of this samsara. The moonlight reflecting off his eyes was a sight I have seen far too many for. Even though it is my goal to kill Kiba, I felt a sense of yearning for him. I swore to end it all.
“So you have arrived.” Kiba told me, his words with his voice feeling like venom. I tried to hold on back the thought leading up to this moment as I steeled myself against him, to fulfill everything.
He drew an arrow against me, but I was swift enough to get out of the way. I retaliated until he found a weak spot and I fell, with his eyes staring into mine.
“Heh, you just keep falling for the same trick over and over again.”
I tried to fight back but he had me in his grasp.
“Truly you are intriguing to say the least..”
I felt as he slowly pushed his weapon deeper in my flesh, slowly crying out in pure agony as his damm smile with his eyes locked in mine.
“May we meet again in the next life..”

It was just a dream. I went on to check the rabbits, before grabbing a glass of water to recover. That dream.. it felt real. As I sat on the couch, I held the scroll that carried everything I stood for. Just exactly what I stood for, to protect everyone who crossed paths with me in this life.
And in the end I will pay the price.
