“My father molested...” Amanda leaned up, grip tight, muscles burning as she stiffened. Forcing the memories away, forcing her walls of defence to return, she whispered into the ear of Sears: “...children.”
As she leant down again to finish untying him, Amanda couldn’t help giving a small tilt of her head, the snarky remark leaving her easily, “But thank you for asking.”
