But he suspected it had more to do with just who Tan was as a person. He was sun and warmth and comfort personified. A little patch of brightness amongst everything else that often felt cold and harsh in Fang’s world. He was reassurance and love and trust. Things that Fang had thought he would never find again outside of Phum as his brother, but that Tan had gone out of his way to show him from the very first moment they had reconnected. He was everything Fang was not and he loved Fang despite everything he was not.
