Work Text:
It’s past 6 pm already and Utahime’s still in the school. Sitting in the teachers office, correcting exams, that she gave her students earlier this week. She promised them that she’ll have them graded by tomorrow, but she graded so fat only one. She’s been sitting here since the classes had ended, which was at 2 pm, but she hadn’t been able to do almost anything. It’s so weird for her to act this way. But no one else really seemed to notice.
It’s been two days since that mission that certain sorcerer, yet she still feels this way. She didn’t ask for that, gosh, she didn’t even consent to it. Simply thinking about it makes her want to cry again. She shouldn’t cry about this, after all it’s her fault. As her family would have said, it’s because of what she was wearing. Even if she was just wearing her traditional Miko outfit, there must have been something way seductive about it. Or maybe she was acting way too seductive. If she would have worn something else back then, or wouldn’t act so seductive, it unquestionably would not have happened.
But she still feels really sad and ashamed about it, even if it’s only purely her fault.
Yes, Utahime could go and tell it to the Higher up’s, but it would be no use. She would be the one who would end up getting punished for it. He is too important to higher up, for them to punish him. Plus Higer up’s don’t care about female sorcerers if they are below the first grade. She hadn’t told anyone yet, and as much as she wants to cry everything out to anyone, she knows that she can’t. Cause if she does, everyone will know how weak she is, how much of a whore she is.
Utahime sights and looks up into the sealing. She can feel the tears forming at the edge of her eyes.
Why can’t she just go with normally forward with her life? What’s wrong with her? Why is the first thing that comes into her mind when she closes her eyes, the memory of him, as he’s holding her down on the ground and doing it to her? Why can’t she sleep at night because of that? Why can’t she stand, being in the same room as him? Why can’t she even stand hearing his name, without getting the flashbacks to that mission? Why does everything remind her of that mission? She doesn’t even feel comfortable in the same Miko outfit, but she has to wear it because otherwise people will start asking about everything.
Utahime knows that she must get back to grading the exams, but she can’t help, but keep staring at the sealing. She knows that she shouldn’t cry on the school grounds, she doesn’t want to. But she will do an exception this time, after all, she’s probably the last one in the school.
“U-ta-hi-me” She freezes. ‘What is he doing here?’ Utahime quickly wipes her tears and turns to Gojo. “What are you doing here Gojo?” She says, trying to hide her sadness through annoyance. “The meeting tomorrow so I decided to come a day earlier to spend some more time, with my favorite Kyoto teacher.” ‘The meeting, I almost forgot about it. He’s also probably going to be there.’ Utahime thinks. That’s going to be really uncomfortable for her, and she can’t even excuse herself out of it. What will she do? She can’t even stand passing him by in the hall, how will she be able to go through a whole one hour meeting. And that is if it the meeting won’t get protracted.
“Uta, are you ok?” Gojo snaps her out of her thoughts. She looks over at his face. He seems . . . actually worried.
Gojo is the last person that Utahime wants him to find out that she got raped. He would just make fun of her. Make fun of how weak she is. How much of an whore she is. He would just tell everyone. But at the same time she wants to tell him. After all, they do sleep together sometimes. “Why wouldn’t I be?” In the end she decides not to tell him the truth, but she also doesn’t exactly tell him that she’s ok.
“You’re acting a somewhat different, you seem like something bothering you.” How did he notice? What should she do now? Since he already noticed that somethings bothering you, if she just tells him that it’s nothing he won’t stop bothering her. “*sight* I’m just a little tired. I couldn’t really sleep last night.” Utahime lies to him.
Gojo doesn’t seem to be satisfied with her answer. “Is that all?” He asks her. He knows that she’s lying, for sure. “Yes, that’s all.”
Gojo keeps staring at her, almost as if he was trying to find some kind of clue with his six eyes. It feels weird. If he keeps doing this he might figure something out. She needs to change the topic somehow. “So, why did you exactly wanted to see me?” Utahime asks him. He finally stops staring at her. “Oh, well, we haven’t seen each other in a long time. So I thought that you could let me sleep over at your place. And we could . . .” Of course he wants to do it, why else would he come to see her. “Sorry, but I’m not feeling like it.” Having sex is the last thing that Utahime wants to do after that mission.
“Are you sure that nothing’s bothering you? You know, you never declined my offer before.” Gojo says, actually sounding worried. If he keeps asking like this she’s going to break and cry. “So you think that there’s something wrong with me just because I doesn’t want to fuck with you?” Utahime asks trying to sound more offended then she actually is.
“No, no. I’m not saying that. It’s just, *sight* I can see that something’s mothering you. And I know that it’s not because you didn’t sleep last night.” Utahime looks away from him and closes her eyes. She can see it again. His face. He’s holding her on the ground and he’s . . .
“Uta, please tell me what’s bothering you. I’m here for you.” As soon as he says those words, Utahime feels tears flowing down her face. No, she can’t essentially tell him the truth. He will just make fun of her, he will just call her weak, he will just tell everyone.
“Uta, tell me. I’m sure that whatever it is I’ll be able to help you.” No answer. Can’t he just leave? She doesn’t want him to see her crying. “Uta?” Still no answer.
Utahime can’t hear him anymore, he probably left. Good he won’t see her crying now. It’s good, right? Maybe it’s not so good. Now that he left she feels even more sad. It’s weird. She’s scared to tell him what happened on that mission, but at the same time she wants him to comfort her.
“You crying?” That’s all Utahime hears before Gojo grabs her hand and turns her around to face him. He looks even more worried now. “Utahime, tell me. What’s bothering you?” No answer. She tries to free her hand from Gojo, but unsuccessfully. “I’m not letting you go until you tell me what’s wrong.” He says, serious. Utahime shakes her head. She still doesn’t want to tell him. “Uta, please. . . tell me.” He looks so genuine. He seem like he really wants to help her.
It breaks her.
“I . . . I got raped.” She confesses quietly. “I didn’t hear you, can you say it louder.” Is he making fun of her? Is this entertaining for him? Utahime takes a deep breath: “I got raped!” Utahime now starts fully crying: “You can now tell me how weak I am!” She can feel that she’s losing her balance, she almost falls on the ground but luckily, Gojo catches her. It takes a while for Gojo to process what Utahime just said.
Gojo hugs her. “Shh, it’s ok now. I’m here with you now. Nothing bad can happen to you now.” He reassures her. They stay like that for a while.
“Uta, when did it happen?” Gojo asks. He didn’t sound the same as when he was reassuring, he sounded so much more angrier. Utahime doesn’t answer him, she just keeps crying. “Do you want to go home?” He asks her after she doesn’t answer him for a while. She still didn’t answer him but Gojo could tell that she wanted to go home, so he teleported them to Utahites apartment.
Gojo helps Utahime sit on her sofa and brings her a glass with water. He gives her the glass and waits a little for her before asking more questions. “Utahime, when did it happen? Who did this to you?” Utahime looks away from him. She already told him too much, she can’t possibly reveal to him more. And why does he want know more? He probably just wants to have more reasons to make fun of her. He probably wants to meet that guy and ask him for all the details.
“Utahime look at me.” Gojo takes her hands into his: “Tell me the truth, tell me the name of that man.” “If you want to say that I’m weak then just say it and don’t asks more questions.” Utahime says to him, through her tears. Gojo seems surprised be her words. “Uta, how can you even think that. Just because someone raped you doesn’t mean that you’re weak. I may be an asshole, but not that big.” Gojo looks into her eyes: “This is serious Uta, I would never call you weak because of this. This could have happened to anyone, no matter how strong they are.” He hugs her again, soothing her. They stay like that for a while.
“Uta, I’ll tell you what we’re going to do now, ok?” Utahime just continues crying. “You’re going to tell me who did that to you, and I will kill him” He whispers to her. “So tell me Uta, who did it?” No answer. Gojo looks into her eyes. “Uta, tell me who did it.” Utahime shakes her head: “No . . . don’t want to”
“Come on Uta, there is no need for you to cover for that asshole.” Gojo says. Utahime just shakes her head again. She’s not going to answer him, at least not today. Gojo cups her cheeks, forcing her to look strait at him. “If you don’t want to say who did it, then at least tell me where and when it happened.” She still doesn’t answer him. “Did it happen in a bar?” She still doesn’t answer him, yet he continues to ask: “Then did it happen in the school?” No answer.
“On a mission?” Utahime doesn’t exactly answer him, but her body twitches at the mention of a mission, which gives it away. “It was another sorcerer then?” She doesn’t need to answer him since Gojo already know the answer. “Now tell me his name Uta.” Utahime once again shakes her head. “Why not?” Gojo asks her. “Cause it’s my fault.” Gojo looks at her, confused.
“Why in the world would it be your fault?” Gojo eventually asks. “Cause my Miko outfit is so suggestive that he couldn’t control himself. It’s not his fault. I mean I shouldn’t even make such a big deal out of it, I never mind when we’re doing it.” Gojo sight, how can she even think that it’s her fault? He’s so angry. Once Gojo figures out who did it, he’ll murder him. “Trust me Uta, if can control myself around you even if you wear more suggestive outfits, then I know for a fact that, that asshole could have controlled himself back then. How can you even say that it’s the same thing with me. As far as I know you always gave your consent”
“And how is your Miko outfit even suggestive? It’s not your fault Uta.”
Gojo kisses her on her forehead. She won’t tell him, at least not right now. She should get some sleep now, after all she is going to meet him tomorrow at the meeting.

It’s the time now. It’s the time for the meeting. Maybe it won’t be so bad today, after all, she did get a much better sleep yesterday. Gojo stayed over and slept right next to her, every time she woke up from the nightmares he was there, and he always soothed her back to sleep again. He’s also with her here right now. But he still doesn’t know that the person who raped her will be here at the meeting. And Utahime still doesn’t want him to figure it out who that certain person is. She knows for sure that Gojo was joking yesterday about murdering him, but she still not planning to tell Gojo who that person is.
The meeting has now started and that certain person didn’t show up. He probably feels embarrassed around Utahime. Utahime’s relived, if he would be here there’s no way that she could go through this meeting.
*creak*
Someone walks into the room into the room. Gakuganji stops talking and everyone’s heads turn towards the door.
‘Oh no.’
“I’m sorry that I’m late. Some tourist asked me to help them on the way here.” Of course, what else did she expect with her luck? “It’s ok Ritsu please take a seat.” He’s even on a first name basis with Gakuganji, now Utahime’s more than sure that the Higher up’s wouldn’t punish him if she were to tell them.
Gakuganji continues to talk, but Utahime zones out right away. She already feels super uncomfortable when he’s around. All the memories from that mission just keep coming back. She doesn’t know how much longer she’ll be able to last here. Suddenly, Gojo grabs her hand under the table. He must have noticed that she feels uncomfortable. Normally she wouldn’t have let him, but this time it’s different. She doesn’t even register that he’s holding her hand that much.
Now Ritsu started talking. Utahime now starts feeling even more uncomfortable, she even feels like crying now. How can he just normally talk as if nothing has happened while knowing damm well that she’s also in the same room? Why is she the only one who feels visibly uncomfortable? How can he act like a little innocent boy after what he has done.
He finally finishes talking after what feels like an eternity and sits back down. She tries to look into another direction away from him, but in the end she quickly glances at him. He’s staring at her and . . . smirking. Why is he smirking at her like that? That’s . . . that’s the same smirk that he gave her while he . . .
This officially breaks her. Utahime stands. “I’m sorry, but I’m not feeling well.” She excuses herself, holding back her tears, then she sprints out of the room. She knows that this gives her a bad image but she can’t bear being in that room with him even a one second more. She decides to hide in the teachers office and shed her tears there. After all no one else will be there at this time.
A few minutes pass and Gojo also storms in. “Uta are you-?” He notices her right away and hugs her. They stay like that for a while, in silence, until Gojo decides to talk again. “That Ritsu guy . . . he’s the one who did it to you, right” He continues to talk: “I noticed how uncomfortable became the second he stepped inside the room.”
“I promise that he’ll get punished for what he did, Uta.” Gojo whispers to her. “No, he won’t. The Higer up’s like him, they will not punish him.” Utahime manages to cry out. Gojo’s hug tightens. “Who said anything about Higer up’s? I am going to murder that bastard.” Utahime looks into his eyes. He’s serious, she never saw him so angry. He looks like he will actually murder Ritsu. Gojo stops hugging her and stands up, he’s about to leave. He’s probably planning to go back to the meeting and confront Ritsu there. Utahime quickly grabs his arm and tries to stop him.
“No Gojo, it’s ok you don’t have to do it.” She tells him. “Oh no, trust me Uta. I certainly do have to do it.” She can sense that he’s about to teleport away, but luckily (or unlucky) Mei Mei comes inside the office. “Are you ok Utahime?” She asks. “She is, she just felt a little dizzy. That’s all.” Gojo answers instead of Utahime, before she can answer. “Oh, ok then.”
“By the way, the meeting was postponed to next week, since you feel dizzy, Gojo just stormed away right after you and I got called to a mission.” Mei Mei ads. “Hey Mei?” Gojo stops Mei Mei as she’s about to leave. “What?” “Do you know where Ritsu is right now?” He asks her. “Ritsu? I think he went back to his office. Why are you asking?” Mei Mei asks. “Let’s just say that I have some business to resolve with him. Can you also tell me where his office is?”
“His office is at the end of the hall.” Mei Mei says as she leaves. “Thanks Mei.” Gojo shouts at her. “Gojo no, don’t do it.” Utahime tries to stop him, but her releases himself from her grab and teleports away. ‘This is bad.’ Utahime quickly stands up and starts running to Ritsu’s office.

Gojo teleports himself right into Ritsu’s office, which startles Ritsu. “Gojo Satoru, what brings you here?” Ritsu asks Gojo. He seems to be very honored that the Gojo Satoru came to his office. “Did you rape Iori Utahime?” Gojo asks him. “Huh? What are you talking about?” Ritsu asks, directly pretending to be clueless. “I already know that you did, there’s no need to pretend.” Gojo comes closer to him.
Ritsu laughs. “Guess there’s no use in hiding it now.” Ritsu smirks. Gojo can tell that Ritsu is convinced that Gojo won’t do anything about it. It pisses him off. “Why are you asking? I heard that you two don’t get along well. To be honest I’m not even surprised. After all she is barely a semi grade one, she brings nothing to our society. She should be glad that I was even wiling to fuck her with her scar.” He laughs a little. Gojo had enough, he’ll erase that smirk from his face.
Gojo jumps at Ritsu and attacks him. “You bastard!” He punched him even harder. “You’re going to be dead after I’m done with you!” It’s at this time that Utahime runs into the room. She’s horrified. She never saw Gojo lose his temper like this, he’s furious. She runs to Gojo and tries to get him off from Ritsu. “Gojo stop! This is not the right thing to do!” She yells at him and continues trying to get him off, but he just ignores her. “Gojo please! I don’t want this.” She starts crying again. As soon as Gojo realizes it he stops and stand up to hug Utahime.
Ritsu stay’s laying there, terrified of what will Gojo do next. He’s already bleeding from his nose and you can exactly see where Gojo punched him the most. After a minute or so, Gojo turns stops the hug and says: “We’ll go to the police now and you will tell them exactly what happened.” Gojo then turns back to Ritsu and kneels down to him. “And you, first you will apologize to Utahime here and then you will tell the police exactly what you did to her. Are we clear?”
“Y-yes sir.” Ritsu says clearly terrified. “Good.” Gojo help him stand up and turns him towards Utahime. “I-I’m sorry for what I did.” He apologized. It was at this moment that Utahime realize, that he is willing to kill for her. Gojo reaches out his hand to her. “Let’s go Uta.”

“Won’t we have problems with the Higer up’s because of this?” Utahime asks Gojo. They are currently walking out of the police station. Ritsu wad too scared that Gojo will murder him so he told the policeman everything. He’s going to get punish for what he did. “Don’t worry about that. Even if they try to punish you I won’t let them.” Gojo reassures her.
“Ritsu’s really lucky that you’re such a sweet person. If you wouldn’t stop me back in his office he would be dead by now, and personally, I think that that’s the only thing that he deserves.” Gojo says. “I would feel really guilty if you would kill him just because of me.” “I know you would. You’re way to nice.” Gojo sights. He looks at his clock, it’s already lunch time. “Hey Uta, wanna get a lunch with me.”
“Sure.”
