If there was any benefit to having this getaway that Satoru basically forced them on is the fact Maki had her own room. If she was forced to share any more space with the boys, she’d most likely have an aneurysm.
Okay, maybe not all of them. She and Yuuta started dating in secret just about two months prior and they have been doing an actual good job at keeping it on the down low. However, getting any sort of alone time together at this.. Resort of sorts, was proving to be difficult. It was just a small house with a pool in a resort area. A simple weekend spent outside Tokyo.
It would be the perfect time to watch movies together, go running, and cuddle if it weren’t for the fact that Panda and Inumaki were there too. They worked to try and not sit next to each other, avoided any sort of touch, and eye glances. And they ached to even just hold hands with the other.
So on the hottest day that weekend, they all opted to spend it at the pool to stay cool. The boys were already there, Inumaki and Yuuta in their swim trunks and Panda with his arm floaties, all applying sunscreen as they waited for Maki. A part of Yuuta was nervous, wondering how she’d look in a swimsuit. He’s only ever seen her bare legs from training together before. Not much else. And he was very much alright with that. But he would not deny how attracted he is to her and how attractive she is - because to him, Maki is a goddess.
She has definitely seen him shirtless before, post-training to cool off from the workout and the steamy summer days. But this is different, right?
Maki knew she was running late to meet up with the rest of her class outside, but she was looking at herself in the mirror as she applied her sunscreen. She never cared about how her body looked like to others as she was always focused on getting stronger. She just has never been in a relationship before. Was it too much? It was just a swimsuit, so no big deal, right? With a sigh, she tied her hair up in its usual high ponytail and grabbed her towel, stepping out.
Hearing the door, Yuuta immediately turned around and spotted Maki and he couldn't look away. There she was, wearing a two piece swimsuit in dark purple, a racerback top that still concealed her chest. And her toned body was on full display. Panda noticed Yuuta staring, nudging Inumaki with a cheeky grin. But holy shit, she is gorgeous.
“Wow, Maki, you um, you look great.” Yuuta was blushing as he tried not to gaze over her body but failed terribly. “Do you need help with sunscreen?”
“I’m all set.” She placed her towel down on a chair, avoiding eye contact with him. And she may have been blushing slightly too.
“Yeah, Maki, you look really good.” Panda teased.
“Oh shut up.” She rolled her eyes, immediately diving into the deepest section of the pool.
They were all having a good time, having swimming competitions, cannonballs, seeing who could hold their breath the longest, and just relaxing on floaties. But Yuuta was itching to have at least one moment with Maki alone.
And maybe he took a glance at her ass when she got out to reapply sunscreen at a point.
He would apologize later for that.
“Hey, guys!” Panda shouted from his seat under the umbrella at a point. “Inumaki and I are thinking of going to prepare some dinner now. Are you two gonna join us?”
“I think we’ll be out here for a bit more. Then join when dinner is ready.” Yuuta responded as he leaned along the wall of the pool.
“No problem, buddy. I got you.”
And once they were gone, they both let out a sigh of relief.
“Finally.” Maki joined his side, still able to watch the house from their spot in case either of them came back outside. “They’re pretty frustrating right now.”
“Panda hasn’t been quiet about the teasing this weekend either.” He paused for a moment. “You um, you do look great and sorry for taking a peek at your butt earlier”
Maki was amused by that, looking over. “Huh. That’s a first. Surprised Panda didn’t say anything to you. Nothing slips by him.”
“Well, he keeps asking when I’ll ask you out.. So um, I think we’re doing a good job on that? But this weekend has been difficult because I just… really want to spend time with you.” The last part was quieter and said very quickly, but Maki caught every word. She felt the same way.
Reaching for his hand under the water, blushing, she leaned into him. “Me too.” And she wasn’t very good at expressing herself in words, but could do so with her actions.
Without wasting time, she moved to be in front of him, wrapping her arms around his shoulders. He hesitated but she guided his hands to her waist, giving the go ahead. He’s always been so mindful with her, something so simple, yet something that showed how much he loved and respected her.
Their bodies were touching under the water, making his heart race because this is the least amount of clothing they’ve had around each other.
Her fingers gently played with the hair at the nape of his neck, pressing their foreheads together, and deciding she’d take the lead here by pressing their lips together.
Was this risky for them? Of course. But they had both been craving each other, the both of them sighing out into the kiss because damn, they were both realizing their feelings for each other might be deeper than they originally thought.
Yuuta’s hands gripped her hips tighter for a split second as they kissed, pushing himself more into her as he boldly deepened the kiss. He craved Maki, needed her all to himself. And maybe he was falling too deep, but that was the kind of man he was - a man who loved with his whole heart and soul.
Reaching a hand down, he trailed it past her hip and down to her bare thigh, gently encouraging Maki to lift her leg up. And she did - getting the signal immediately. She shuddered into the kiss as her leg wrapped around him, being touched there for the first time. But not in the direction she thought this may have been leading to.
Before Maki could say a word when their kiss broke, he lifted her up and threw her back into the water, causing her to shout.
“Okkotsu!” It had taken her by surprise, but she acted quickly enough by pushing him under the water. When he came back to the surface, he spit some water on her like a dolphin, laughing after. “Oh, you are so on, Okkotsu.”
And so they had fun in the pool to themselves, diving, who could do the best belly flop into the water, grabbing the other’s foot when they did a handstand, and even splashing water on each other. Their laughter, shrieks, and name calling echoed as the sun began to set. This is exactly what they needed with each other. Maki could be herself with him - learning more about herself in the process and what she wants out of life. And this had been the most fun she’s ever had, wanting to hold onto it for as long as possible. She didn’t care if her hands were becoming prune-like from the water, or how tangled her hair will be when she takes it out of its ponytail later, she enjoyed this moment.
Once they had calmed and floated about for a bit, they ended up right where they started - hands and arms on the other, Yuuta against the pool wall, and now their legs intertwined under the water. They lost track of time while lost in each other. Their hearts raced, foreheads pressed against each other as they gingerly touched each other in the pool. Maki was falling deep for him, feeling it in her heart. It scared her. But for now, she focused on Yuuta before her, their noses nudging as they spent this quiet moment together.
When their lips met again, they each made a small groan into the kiss, Yuuta tightening his grip on her ever so slightly. They both felt like they could stay like this forever. This was their moment, their world together. And she nipped on his lower lip to kiss him deeper, causing him to groan once again.
So in tune with each other, they both failed to hear footsteps approaching the pool as they continued to makeout, putting the obvious out there.
“Whoa oh oh! Did not mean to interrupt this steamy session of yours.” Panda teased, causing Maki and Yuuta to break the kiss and let go of each other, their faces becoming a deep shade of red from being caught. “I just wanted to let you know that dinner is about to be ready. But it seems like you two wanted dessert first.” He continued to tease, waggling his eyebrows.
He was so right about them and couldn’t wait to tell Inumaki.
“Shut up if you know what’s good for you.” Maki splashed Panda as she made her way out of the pool only for his gaze to go back to Yuuta, catching him once again looking at Maki’s butt.
And when caught, he shook his head in denial as Maki dried off then headed back into the vacation house.
Panda raised his paws up in defense, still chuckling. “Seems like you enjoy both boobs and ass, huh, Yuuta?”
He made a squeak like sound, nearly losing his footing as he too got out of the pool. “J-Just shut up!”
“Alright, alright, jeez. I’ll leave you alone only if you tell us tonight how this started and when. Deal?”
Staring at him for that moment before he let out a heavy sigh, Yuuta reluctantly agreed.
“And I will not tell a soul if you want to be in her room tonight. That, I swear, my friend.”
And Yuuta took him up on that offer, spending the last night they had there with his love, before they had to go back to reality.
