School. That is probably the most both amusing and boring place. While your class could be chill and stuff, it could be the total opposite.
And it was the case for Yuri and Natsuki's class. They luckily got into the same class, even though they just talked to each others a few weeks after the start of school, so after joining the literature club.
But currently, it was loud. Like very loud. The kind of loud most of people could handle, except people like Yuri.
Noticing the overwhelming sensation her girlfriend was feeling, Natsuki turned around as Yuri was behind her with concern. "You okay there ?"
"I-I'm okay." She sure did not seemed okay. Natsuki glanced at the rest of the class "Let's get you some air." And before Yuri had time to protest, she found herself being dragged outside the classroom, ignoring the comments of the students, with Natsuki leaning against the wall when they were outside the class
"Deep breathes, dear. Can you do that for me ?" The tsundere asked in a somewhat soft tone, gently holding Yuri's hand, who was taking deep breathes as asked.
It wasn't unusual for the tall girl to have panic attacks, and Natsuki quickly got the way to help her. And, somehow, holding her hand while whispering to her some comforting words was enough.
Yuri took deep breathes a few times before letting out a shaky exhale, her grip on Natsuki's hand tightening when she did so.
"Alright you're doing great..let's...sit down for a bit, 'Ri." She told her softly, sitting on the ground, Yuri following.
Natsuki gently rested her head on her girlfriend shoulder, a small smile growing on her lips when she saw Yuri relaxing at the gesture.
"Sorry for being just...a freak having panic attacks when there's too much noises--"
"No. You're everything but a freak, love. And...that's a part of you that makes you...you. Never apologize for it, can you do that ? For me ?"
Yuri was taken aback by the soft way Natsuki told her that, her grip on her hand tightening a little when she did so.
She simply nodded in answer, which was enough for Natsuki to have a gentle smile on her face.
"Good." Natsuki paused before speaking up again. "Let's go to the clubroom a bit, it'll make you feel comfortable and we can open the windows there."
Yuri nodded again before she and Natsuki stood up, quietly walking to the clubroom together.
Luckily, Monika gave them a double of the keys, in case she wasn't there someday to open the room, which Natsuki used to open it.
They both stayed quiet in the room, both just appreciating the presence of each others while they were sitting on the floor next to the opened closet.
"Thank you."
"Huh?"
"I-I said thank you. For everything."
Natsuki scoffed, though there were no hint of annoyance in it, a small smile on her face.
"No need to thanks me, you idiot..."
