Summary
Ichi, since that fateful day in the wilderness where his birth family abandoned him, has been a creature of habit. A creature who adhered to patterns. He woke with the sun, bathed in the closest clean body of water, and did what was needed for keeping himself alive to see his next sunrise.
Nothing he did throughout his days could be confused as “routine.” He did what was necessary. Nothing more.
Sometimes what was necessary was scouting the woods for hours trying to find the perfect places to set up traps, other times it was going into town to barter pelts and the like that he skinned off the animals he collected from the traps. He ate whenever was most convenient, and he always ate alone.
On a peculiar day, he might spend his hours foraging. Nothing he ever did could be classified as frivolous, or adhering to a schedule. Each day had its unique demands that couldn’t be predicted.
That is not the case anymore.

Summary
As Ruby leads the remnants of JNPR to Mistral they find themselves wishing for simpler days at Beacon. They would get their wish as their attempts to help the people of Shion come crashing down. They find themselves decades in the past to STRQ's time at Beacon. As RNJR returns to being students they must decide between returning to their time or saving all they have lost.

Ruby Rose will have to grapple with being the leader of Team RNJR, her rivalry with the leader of Team WYBP (Wisp), Weiss Schnee, the growing tension across the school, and maybe one day she’ll save the world.
Of course, people will also have to adapt to the strangely powerful Ruby Rose…
This story will contain bits and pieces of headcanons and aus that I’ve written into other fics, but this fic isn’t part of any of those aus, and the ocs are not the same versions of those characters, so this can be read standalone. We’ve got an origin for the Glyphs, further world lore, reimagined plot elements, and of course, my personal staple, some eldritch Ruby Rose! I hope you enjoy it.
