    “Then what are you?” Mikey whispered, leaning in to steal Draken’s plush lips from the wineglass and take them in his own. He tasted sweet, like promises of a better future.

    Draken sighed into the kiss, reaching his free hand up to fist the soft fabric of Mikey’s sweater in his fingers. It was only here, with him, that he could really let go. Allow the hard edges of his omega to rise to the surface and melt over the covers like ice in a hot coffee.
