*pokes writer with a stick* ch 2 pls...
I loved everything abt this so far. Fics where Kate puts distance bw herself and everyone by going off on her own have a special place in my heart, but this one was esp accurate with her characterization. She was just a smidgen more 'selfish' to make it possible. Two things I liked that that I noted:
-Kate wanting to be useful and jumping into the accounting side of Genevieve's businesses bc ofc she’d be good at that. I like whenever writers include her knack for stuff like that bc it's something very unique about her. She did that for 8 years in India, it only makes sense for her to keep wanting to do it.
-The 6 month journey being traumatizing for her. I've never even thought about this but yeah...it's totally possible for someone to come back with trauma from that, esp when considering the conditions of that time. It seems like such a small reason to stay back until you really think about itI wouldnt even mind if any potential future chapters arent about Anthony, though ik the author's note says that it will. I would just like to see where she goes next
