Chapter Text
Sunny stood on the edge of the hospitals railing looking down at the clouds, he could feel a cold breeze hitting his face, the hospital gown he was wearing not helping to keep him warm, but he could care less in that moment.
It looked like a long way down... he knew this was the only way. he didn't deserve to be here after what he did to mari, how he lied to all his friends, pushing them all away and making them suffer the consequences of his actions while they blamed themselfves, truley.. this was for the best.
"I hope you can forgive me for this mari.." he spoke to himself in a whisper before he leaned foward.
Loosening his grip on the railing he let himself fall.
As he fell, the world blurred into a dizzying swirl of light and shadow. The wind roared past his ears, a deafening whoosh that drowned out everything else.
His heart pounded in his chest, each beat echoing loudly in his ears. Flashing memories of Mari's warm smile their time spent together, and the faces of his friends flickered through his mind like a disjointed slideshow. Regret surged within him.
regret for not telling his friends the truth about what happened to Mari.
But amidst the chaos, a strange calm settled over him. This was right. This was his atonement. The ground rushed up to meet him, and with a final, shuddering breath, he embraced the darkness

Sunny opened his eye(s) to an unfamiliar room with a mirror infront of him it was empty and dark only showing a void of darkness not a single refection on its surface
A Hand suddenly emerged from the mirror reaching towards him he heard a familiar voice but he couldn't place where he had heard it as it spoke
"My sunshine you have lost your light"
"My sweet white tulip"
"Your fate shall not end here"
" the sun will always rise again "
"Take my hand and do not let go."
Sunny stared at the hand, processing the words that the familiar voice had spoken, His hand moved on its own, Reaching towards the outstreched hand. Despite his struggle, he was pulled through the mirror and everything went dark again

His eyes snapped open to darkness. Every inch of his body ached, a throbbing pain that made him aware of every bone, every breath painfully drawing in and out of his lungs. His head felt like it was being split open, the pain so intense he could barely think. He stood there for what felt like hours, clutching his head, trying to endure the relentless agony.
How was he still alive? He was supposed to be dead. His brain reeled, struggling to comprehend his survival, the torment of his phantom pain clashing with the overwhelming confusion. Why was he still awake? How was he still breathing
Eventually, the worst of the pain subsided, leaving only a minor headache. He cautiously looked around, trying to make sense of his surroundings. But before he could get far, he realized he was enclosed in a tight space. Was this a coffin? Panic surged through him. Oh no, did he... didn’t he? Did he somehow survive? Or was this the afterlife? Confusion gripped his mind, but the steady beat of his heart in his chest reassured him. He was definitely alive.
As Sunny tried to figure out his situation, he heard a noise from outside the coffin. Tiny footsteps approached.
"I better hurry up and find that uniform before someone spots me..."
The voice sounded impatient.
"Urgggh... This lid weighs a ton! Try this on for size! Mya-ha!"
Suddenly, a blue light seeped through the cracks of the coffin. The lid fell off, and Sunny stumbled out, barely catching himself.
"What?! You ain't supposed to be awake!"
Looking up, Sunny saw a grey kitty with blue fire in its ears and a pitchfork-like tail. His mind raced. A talking cat? How is that possible? Can cats talk? Where did that fire come from?
His thoughts abruptly stopped when the strange cat creature grew impatient with Sunny's silence.
"Oh-ho! You've got a lot of nerve ignoring me, human! The name's Grim. Believe me, you won't forget it! Now give me your uniform, and be quick about it!"
"Cause if you don't...you're gonna regret it!"
Uniform? Sunny thought, puzzled, as he looked down at himself. To his surprise, instead of the light blue hospital gown he remembered, he was now wearing a set of luxurious black and purple robes adorned with intricate gold accents. His mind raced with confusion. Where was he? Why was he in these robes?
Everything felt disorientingly surreal. He glanced around, trying to make sense of his surroundings. The room be was in had a bunch of floating coffins and a mirror in the middle The air felt different, charged with an energy he couldn't quite place. And the presence of the talking cat creature, Grim, only added to his bewilderment.
Sunny looked down at the robes he wore, feeling a pang of reluctance. He quite liked cats and used to have one of his own. Grim seemed like an unusual cat, but there was something familiar and comforting about its presence.
Quietly, Sunny decided to take off his outer layer of robes and gently offered them to Grim. As the creature eagerly inspected the robes, "Hmm, not bad for a human," Grim mused in a gravelly voice, his eyes lighting up while looking at the robes
With Grim momentarily distracted, Sunny seized the opportunity to slip away and explore his surroundings. He needed to get a better idea of where he was and what had brought him here. The air felt charged with anticipation as he ventured forward, his mind buzzing with questions and curiosity
