Work Text:
They came back for me, all that time ago, I was seen
By the team, the Batchers, Clone Force 99, my brothers,
And I could not be more thankful for it, to them, unlike others,
Having been all alone for so very long.
There was some adjusting to the changes at first, true,
We all felt the pressure, the war ending, the Empire, the losses for sure,
But we all managed, together, as a family we coped,
Despite the initial shock, the awkwardness, there now was hope.
I might have started as a clueless, wide eyed child,
But now, that I have been able to travel the galaxy wide,
Having seen it all, but also been used and abused by the Empire,
Then finding my way back to those who cherish me, a sure fire,
I have become, complete, I have become, me.
But also having become a soldier my self,
Then finding peace among the rest,
Friends among the plethora of stars,
And along the long way,
a fighter with a set of perfectly taught smarts.
I am as much a part of this team, this group, this wayward family,
As any other member of the Clone Force 99, my loving brothers, so many,
I will never be far away from them no matter how much older I grow,
Nor wherever I finally land, far or near I can really show,
The one thing, that is sure and true of us all:
Me, we, us, the many other clones,
The team which started now a family,
None of us will never be alone again.
