lemon tea — what are mornings like with them?
- mornings with kaz would be unusually peaceful. the two of you frequently enjoy sharing quiet conversations in his office, hidden away from the rest of the world... until jesper interrupts, that is.
peppermint tea — what do they get excited about?
- let’s be honest... kaz doesn’t get excited very often. but when you praise him for his successful heists with inej and jesper, he always needs to put in a little extra effort to hide one of his rare smiles. he’ll usually settle for a cocky smirk instead.
chamomile tea — what is their sleep schedule like? does it change around their s/o?
- kaz struggles with sleep. whether it was having nightmares about losing jordie or about losing you in the same manner, you often found kaz awake and alone, sitting in the low candlelight of the crow club. you did your best to comfort, though he often expressed—
- “your being here is enough.”
earl grey tea — how did they court their s/o?
- the two of you never technically courted. there were no romantic dinners, no late night strolls through moonlit streets. everything happened gradually and, often, without words. at a certain point, everyone knew a special bond was shared between you and kaz... a bond that no one else could ever break.

coffee — do they get jealous easily? how do they show it?
- though he won’t admit it, kaz can be rather jealous at times. you can always tell when his feelings had overtaken him. from the way he tightens his grip on his cane to how he glared at whichever dreg, who was usually a new recruit, had dared to make a move. you did your best not to laugh whenever they jumped as kaz slammed his cane between the two of you, always bringing the crow club to a complete halt.
- “inej... take care of this one, will you?”
- once they had been taken away, kaz returns his dark gaze to you. meanwhile, you couldn’t stop smirking as you requested another drink from the bar, leaving kaz to scoff and follow after inej so he and the new recruit could have a... chat, as jesper frequently put it...
rosehip tea — how romantic are they?
how do they show affection?
- kaz secretly felt bad about never actually ‘courting’ you like most couples do. further into the relationship, whenever possible due to constant action happening in ketterdam, he would try his best to take you wherever you desired. whether that be your favorite opera show or simply spending time alone or even planning a special heist he knew you would be excited for, kaz always made an attempt to treat you the way you truly deserved.
- (sure, he wasn’t always the most romantic because of his struggles to express his emotions with others, but you still loved him for making an effort to do so.)
black tea — what do they look for in a person?
- kaz never imagined himself having a relationship with someone until he met you so... he looks for a person like you, i suppose...
pomegranate tea — at what point did they know they loved their s/o?
- in a heist gone wrong, kaz had been cornered with nowhere to go. he hadn’t been prepared for an extra guard to appear. none of the crows were anywhere to be seen. not jesper. not inej. not—
- the guard collapsed at kaz’s feet... and there you stood, dagger in hand as you struggled to breathe properly. as you gasped for air, kaz stared at you with wide eyes, unsure of what to say. you... you had saved him... with a pounding heart, kaz finally spoke,
- “you’re brilliant.”
matcha tea — how and when do they propose to their s/o?
- much like how the two of you ‘courted’, neither of you really thought about proposing. and so, everything happened gradually once more... until inej decided to speak up.
- “i could marry you in the eyes of the saints, if you wish.”
- both of you shared a glance and kaz knew. later that night, within the dark halls of the crow club, away from prying eyes and shallow whispers, inej made due on her promise with jesper as a witness. kaz had never believed in the saints, only himself and his crows, and the saints never believed in him either, it seemed. but if it meant something or someone could even possibly be watching over you when he left this world, kaz would follow the saints until his dying day.

how do they spice up their relationship?
hibiscus tea — what’s their favorite place to take their s/o?
- kaz would take you wherever you wished to go. as long as he was with you, anywhere in all of ketterdam could become his favorite place.
green tea — how do they comfort their s/o?
- in all the time that he had known you, kaz had never touched you. never.
- you understood why, especially after learning more about his brother. people often questioned your relationship because of his lack of public affection, but you knew the love shared between the two of you could expressed in more ways than just physical touch.
- kaz didn’t need to wrap you in his arms and shelter you away from the world in order to comfort you in times of sadness. all he needed to do was be by your side, whispering loving words that only you could hear... and you knew he loved you.
russian caravan tea — how experienced are they with relationships?
- once again, kaz had never thought about being in a relationship before he met you. you were his first experience. and he hoped you would be his only experience. he never wanted to lose you, no matter the circumstances.
english breakfast tea — would they want a family?
- the crows were his family. kaz would never leave any of you behind. despite his sour mood and cruel exterior, kaz knew he could always rely on you, inej, and—
- (well, maybe not jesper.. but kaz could definitely rely on milo...)
rooibos tea — what’s their favorite thing to do with their s/o?
- his favorite thing to do was rather simple: he liked listening to you speak.
- kaz wasn’t a man of many words, which meant you often compensated for that. you were able to understand his expressions and thoughts and opinions whether he spoke or not. and for the times he did feel like talking, you would always return the favor, a look of admiration in your eyes and a smile on your face.
