I’ve been rescued.
He tightens his limbs against his body. He feels the scrape of his bare heel as it catches the soft fibers of the bedsheets. He listens to the air recycler, surging and ebbing at regular intervals. The cool breeze feels almost too decadent. The temperature is ideal. His bed is comfortable. If he wants for anything, he knows Qui-Gon will come in a matter of moments. He has been given his life back. Eventually the memory of the cell and its blank black pain will fade. This must be true.
