Work Text:
It has been five years,
Time really does fly.
The Big City shows that it can be moving still,
And that my life isn’t always perfect,
But it’s like climbing a hill,
Reaching the top will a great memory to collect.
General Specific and his desire to capture me remains the same,
With his Private now a Lieutenant,
But he now knows that it is hard to claim,
And maybe redundant.
My best friend Swanky is sadly overseas,
No thanks to her Greedy Richington,
But what never leaves is our memories,
And they shall never fall into oblivion.
No sheep is more caring and supportive than X Agent,
Who is now my lovely husband,
Our relationship may now be ancient,
But it’ll be a legend.
We have a sweet little son named Colin,
He is different from the others,
And we love him without discipline,
May he blossom up like roses.
As for me,
I don’t have much to ask now,
I already have everything I need,
For a Sheep in the Big City.
“So, what do you think?” Sheep asked before he lowered the piece of paper that contained his hand writing.
“It was beautiful, Sheep.” X Agent smiled.
“It is the BEST poem ever made!” Colin agreed as he jumped up and down in excitement.
Sheep chucked, “Thank you, I couldn’t be more thankful to have such a wonderful life.”
“We’re all thankful,” X Agent added. “I’m glad that we met each other and developed such an unbreakable bond.”
“I’m just happy to have a family who understands who I am, all thanks to you two!” Colin thanked before he quickly gathered his fathers and shared a big hug, almost bursting into tears of joy.
Sheep and X Agent hugged Colin back, before they all began to reflect on how long it has been before this point in time.
It has been 5 years,
Time really does fly.
