Chapter Text
This was it. You'd been fighting them for hours, days, years. You were too good against them and that made them angry so they teamed up against you. You ran and ran knowing no one on your side was in a position to help you.
You ran for what felt like miles, not stopping for breath, when you found train tracks, seemingly abandoned because god knows how far you are from civilization. Hogwarts is, in theory, supposed to be hidden from the rest of the world, not that it helps with death eaters though. Most had gone to Hogwarts in their earlier years.
You knew it wasn't long until they caught up with you but you couldn't see anyone chasing you for the time being, so you decided to slow down, take a breath, calm down, be ready for when they do come. Take in the scenery, for this may be the last time you'll be able to enjoy something. Whether you drop dead where you're standing or you make it back to Hogwarts alive, things aren't looking up for you. Someone you know and love is bound to have died by now, denying that is just false hope. Death or depression? Die or want to die for the rest of your life?
You stop.
“This isn't fair.” you think to yourself, “but is anything?”
“I can't go back. I'd rather die lying to myself about the status of my friends than go back and find them all dead. But if I go, they're coming with me.”
You looked around. Mountains as far as the eye could see, and one long train bridge, and, “Hey! I think I see them up ahead!” them.
Your plan was to blow up the bridge, as soon as they all got close enough of course, “take out as many as you can, for your friends safety.'' The idea of dying was horrible, but going back would be even worse for you.
