Chapter Text
It has been 6 months since the end of the Giant War and since then everyone had moved on with their lives. Jason moves back and forth between the two camps while building temples, Reyna had joined the hunters and Frank and Hazel became the preators of the Legion with a new addition named Leo Valdez into their relationship.
But the progress thet hurt Percy the most was Nico and Will getting together. After he and Annabeth broke up, he pondered upon the words Nico had spoken to him "you are not my type" "I had a crush on you but I am over it now" and found out that he had always loved him but couldn't identify it for what it was and then when Nico and Will got together, he had been jealous of Will but started to love him too due to his sunny and helpful persona. Everyone he knew had moved on except for him.
That brought him to now..
Percy Jackson sat by the edge of the lake at Camp Half-Blood, his feet dangling in the water. The usual joy he felt from the cool waves lapping at his toes was absent. His shoulders slumped, and his usually vibrant sea-green eyes were dull. The weight of recent events pressed heavily on his mind, and for the first time in a long while, he felt truly alone.
He didn't hear the footsteps approaching until Will Solace's voice broke through his thoughts. "Hey, Percy. Mind if we join you?"
Percy looked up to see Will standing with Nico di Angelo, both of them wearing concerned expressions. Percy managed a weak smile. "Sure, guys. Have a seat."
Will and Nico settled down on either side of Percy. For a while, they just sat there in silence, watching the ripples in the water. It was Will who spoke first. "We've been worried about you, Percy. You haven't been yourself lately."
Percy sighed, running a hand through his messy black hair. "I don't know, Will. I just... I feel so lost. Like I'm drifting without a purpose. Everything's been so overwhelming.Everyone has moved on without me, I am the only one here without a purpose anymore and without...without anyone to be with me. I feel alone."
Nico reached over, placing a hand on Percy's shoulder. "You're not alone, Percy. We're here for you. You don't have to carry everything by yourself."
Percy felt a lump form in his throat. He had been trying so hard to be strong, to be the hero everyone expected him to be. But here, with Nico and Will, he felt a crack in his armor. "It's just... everything feels so heavy. And I don't know how to fix it."
Will's hand found Percy's other shoulder, squeezing gently. "You don't have to fix everything, Percy. Sometimes, it's okay to let others help you. To lean on us."
Percy looked between the two of them, seeing the genuine concern and care in their eyes. "But why? Why do you guys care so much?"
Nico's dark eyes softened. "Because we care about you, Percy. More than you know. Will and I... we've been talking, and we want you to know that we love you. Both of us."
Percy's heart skipped a beat. "You... you love me? But...but you said I am not your type?"
Nico smiled at him and squeezed his shoulder. "I...lied. I thought you were not interested in me so in the fear of rejection, I lied to you, but I-we have seen the way you look at us and if I am not mistaken then you like us too....right? He asked now with his smile turning nervous.
Will nodded, a gentle smile on his face. "Yes, Percy. We love you. And we want you to be a part of our lives. If you'll have us."
Tears welled up in Percy's eyes, but for the first time in a while, they were tears of relief, of hope. "I... I don't know what to say. I never thought... I mean, you two are together, and I didn't want to..."
Nico leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to Percy's cheek. "We want you, Percy. All of you. Your strengths, your flaws, your fears. We want to be there for you, to share everything with you."
Will followed suit, kissing Percy's other cheek. "Let us in, Percy. Let us help you heal."
Percy blushed, the red covering his entire face and neck and closed his eyes, feeling the warmth and love radiating from Will and Nico. For the first time in a long while, he felt a sense of belonging, of being truly seen and accepted. "Okay," he whispered. "Okay. I'll try."
Nico and Will pulled him into a tight embrace, holding him close as the waves gently lapped at their feet. Once they pulled back, Nico kissed Percy softly on the lips, his cold tuch making a shiver run down his spine and making his toes curl. After they parted Will pulled Percy towards him and kissed him, his warm lips soothing Percy and making all the tension in his bones seep out, after they parted Percy let out a small happy sigh and closed his eyes again leaning against his new boyfriends and smiled.
In that moment, Percy knew he wasn't alone anymore. He had found his anchor, his safe harbor, in the love and support of Will and Nico.
