   Summary

   Displaced from his home in Sandover and separated from his friends, Jak has been captured for use in the Dark Warrior Program. While his progress is impressive, his captors are frustrated by his inability to speak—with some coaxing, Praxis eventually agrees to allow Jak's atrophied vocal muscles to be repaired "in exchange" for his participation in the program. After all, what good is a monster if it can't roar?
