Elevater bash

Summary:

Stalker! Sans and reader one shot

Notes:

A gift for Radskull for all their amazing works and his Sans is just so cool. I like his art so i wrote this! I did my best to get a vibe that his sans gives off

Work Text:

When you were young you were a sucker for rom-coms. The small misunderstandings. The cute grand gestures that show you their love. The struggles and heartache that got you at the edge of your seat.

That's what you thought your standards for love should be.

An intense kind of love. Full of devotion and sacrifice. Seeing someone love you to the point they would go all out always made you melt. That's the love you want! Those cheesy cliches made your love standard so damn high.

And maybe that's why you can't keep a love for long…

“YOUR TOO GOOD FOR ME” your boyfriend of 2 months screamed out as you popped the question. “I CAN'T MARRY YOU!”

You look at him in shock. Was it because the ring was too big? You could always get a jeweler to fix it. Or was it because you got on one knee in the mix of him trying to break up with you.

“But why? Haven't I been a good girlfriend?” you try to reassure him but his face still holds a stern look.

“See! You're too nice!”

“I can be less nice!”

“Your gifts are TOO specific!”

“I'll get you a gift card!”  you answer back “I'm sorry! If this overwhelmed you. I didn't mean to hurt you!”

“Your TOO supportive!” your now ex shook his head.

“We can work on that in Therapy!”

~Now~

“Rachel for the last time we are not going to kill him just because we found out he cheated on her!” You growl at your phone. After walking back home from your messy breakup with your now ex. (Who the fuck calls the cops?)

You got a text reminder that the party was today.

So you ran like a madman. A gift in one hand and your speaker blasting in the other.

“~ She's a hot mess

150 down the highway in a sundress

Watch her burn it up I'm bearing witness~”

You kept going through traffic as you were running late to your buddy's get-together. Rachel was practically killing your ears with her screaming. You gladly listened. It was better than thinking about your ex.

“YOU WOULDN'T SAY THAT IF YOU SAW HOW DANNY BOY WAS CRYING HIS EYES OUT! LIKE WHO CHEATS ON THEM A WEEK BEFORE PROM?!?!” Rachel had a point.

“I told you last week! Isn't it kinda sketchy that the asshole went to dinner with his cousin? Like who does that?!” You yelled back before the line cut.

You look at your phone. No signs. That was the price for cutting time by taking a shortcut thru the neighborhood. You hope Rache didn't think you hung up on her.

A quick turn and a jump over a fence and you cut 10 minutes. The only downside. No signal.

Thanks to your adrenaline kicking in. You felt energized and ready to face the world. Even face the fact you were running late. And single. AGAIN!

Today wasn't gonna get you down!

~'Cause if she said that I look better down the barrel of a Beretta, oh

I couldn't protest~

Your destination was within reach! The mall was just a street away!

You check your phone 5:45. And still no signal. Calling Rachel back was starting to look bleak.

Oh well. Maybe Rache won't be so mad. You made good time. If you can cross the train station you should make it. You promised to go early but life got in the way.

Like getting your soul crushed…

~Reckless don't mean a thing

If you ain't kinda hopeless

As she told me not to waste another moment~

You shook off the pesky thought forming and kept running and ignoring your calves screaming at you. All you needed to do was focus on today.

~No point resisting giving up control

I'm giving up control~

The plan was to invite everyone to surprise your best coworker with a party. After overhearing them, they say they never had a party to celebrate their birthday. You took it upon yourself to throw them one.

With some help from Rachel. You both decided to set one up a week before his birthday.

Everyone would bring food and help with decorations. Just a small thing to show your other buddy you appreciate all their hard work.

Lately, you've noticed them looking a little on edge. And you wonder what's bothering them. They normally never had a tough time.

Even if you don't know the guy well. You figured it was a good time to throw this bash to cheer them up.

You run past the railroad and make it past the station. Passing a few Snowdrakes along the way. You wave hi. You check your clock again. It said 5:52.

“Geeze we are cutting it close” you mumble under your breath.

Everyone was supposed to come. Except fucking Dennis after this dumb fiasco. That shady prick doesn't deserve cake or Danny. You hope Danny finds someone better.

Maybe you'll find someone better…too

You try not to think about it anymore. You close your eyes for a second and inhale a sharp breath.

Don't think. Don't think.

You can't think about any bad news. No, today you celebrate your buddy. The recruit you guys were all starting to grow attached to.

*ring ring*

You quickly answer the call.

“Yellow?”

“Finally I got you to answer. Where are you?” Rachel's voice was muffled as you could only assume she was hiding with everyone else. Waiting to surprise the birthday boy.

“Close and did Denis show up?” You ask.

“Good and I hope not. Asshole is getting his tires slashed if he ever gets near our Danny” You could hear Rachel practically growling.

“Calm your murder boner” you couldn't help but smile at her tone. “At least let me be there to rage with you”

“But I'm erect with rage!” Rachel whined. She went on ranting about the cheater. You hum in agreement as you run past the street lights starting to turn on.

It wasn't dark yet. You could see the mall in the direction of the sunset.

“And do you still have that small bat inside your backpack?” Rachel asked.

“The glory buster? Yeah should be in my locker” You processed her words immediately “….No we are not using it to bust his knee caps”

You could already hear Rachel's gears turning over the phone. Plotting other ways to get even. And potentially get you both arrested.

“Whaaaaat who said that? But. I wouldn't say no if you offered my sweetheart” Her voice was sweet while you tried to reason with her.

You already knew this guy was bad news! Like he didn't even bother to give his jacket to his boyfriend when it got chilly. And when they had arguments… Neither decided to visit the other with a boombox. Playing their song in the RAIN! Rom-coms must have a hint of truth behind those sappy endings. Why

Danny and Denis' love had major red flags. Rom-coms 2 and their relationship 0.

You hope Danny finds someone who appreciates him.

And that's why you rarely date. You couldn't see anyone else ever give you their 100%! To go all out even if it took their all! Psh, it's totally not because you scared Carlos with an explosion box on valentines Day. Getting tickets to their favorite band and stuffing their favorite candy during señor Year. Nah….that's not why you're scared of rejection….or when Bob stern no didnt hurt during prom season…he wasn't your person….. And that one girl at the coffee shop stomping on your gifts for your one-week anniversary didn't hurt...nope. It didn't hurt that she berated you in public. Or when you asked your current boyfriend to marry you…..

Nah…

“Earth to Y/n are you almost here?! The birthday boy is coming any minute. Sooo HURRY THE HELL UP!” You wince at Rachel shrieking over your ear. You juggle your phone and gift in your arms as you dodge people.

Oh gosh, she's louder than your little speaker?!?!?

~You got me on the way out, honey, on the way down

You'rе so personal~

You finally managed to run inside the mall. The place was a maze but with your luck you could always find your destination. All you needed to do was get to the elevator.

“I'm almost there! I promise! I got the gift and speaker. You can practically hear me!” You called back to her. “Have I ever Failed you?”

“Yes! Right now. You were supposed to be here over an hour ago!” You could practically hear Rachel's blood boiling. And now you felt bad. You promised you would help out with decorations.

You made sure to keep the phone away so she couldn't hear your chuckles.

“Aww, do you miss me that much?” You tease as you turn to the escalator. Sadly it was still on the fritz. You pivot in the direction of the east hall. That elevator should be able to take you up to the glass greenhouse on the roof.

“..uhhh y/n. You're lucky I love your stupid ass.” Rachel groaned while you couldn't hold back your grin.

Aww, she still loves you. Now add in the charm so she doesn't scold you later.

“Awww and this is why you're my work wife!” You let your chin hold your phone as you place the banner into your backpack. You kill the speaker and hide it in your backpack. You still needed it for the party.

“Yeah, and I'm starting to consider quitting the position” You hear Rachel mumble bitterly over the phone. You couldn’t stop yourself from whimpering at her response.

“Rachel, you're breaking my heart here!” You whine, slowing down a bit to catch your breath. “3 years of retail and 2 crazy night shifts never broke us up before!”

“Maybe come early next time,” Rache huffed.

Even when she was mad you could tell she didn't mean it. Rachel has been your friend for 6 years. Been threw your worst and best times. She is your ride-or-die. And you would do the same. The one buddy who honestly got your quirky ways. So you being late isn't the end of the world. You’re positive today was gonna be amazing.

“Rachel, I am almost there! I just need to get to the elevator and go to the top floor. It's simple and you know he doesn't go up there until 6:10 and it's liiiiiike-'' You check your phone. It was 6:08.

Okay, you are cutting it close. You keep your voice relaxed. Mostly not to give your friend a heart attack. A little late but you've been in tighter spots.

“Sweetie, I can see the elevator right now. I'll be there in 2 minutes. I promise!” You try to keep your voice sweet. With a little confidence, even your buddy can believe your bullshit.

You weren't lying that the elevator was closed. What you didn't tell her was that the door just opened and you were barely making it at your pace. Luckily Rachel seems to give you some mercy.

“Fine! But if the birthday boy gets there before you…Well, I might steal your precious~” Her voice sounded menacing as you swallowed your spit.

Oh gosh, she was threatening your baby. Your pride and joy!

“Please let's tacobout this!…don't touch Señior Liam” you beg as he was your little taco squeaker you got on your birthday all those months ago. You kept him safe in your locker at the mall. He was your support toy. In the mix of your stress and madness, lil Liam was your salvation. Whenever you felt anxious or when you were forced to go to the dark spooky halls of the mall. Lil Liam was your source of comfort. His little squeaks kept you grounded. You can list the dozen times that little toy has saved you. You were one squeak away from quitting at times. He was safe in your locker in the game store you work at. At least for now. You were planning to try and quit later.

Maybe move closer to Ebbot. Mostly to see your folks and to see how the town looks now. You heard from your mom the monsters were finishing up building a new area for themselves. Its still trippy that monsters and magic are real.

“You can't sweet talk your way into this sweetie” Rachel added and knocking you back into reality.

You took a heavy step and sprinted to the elevator. You jumped in to see two pairs of eyes. Bewildered by you.

Oh gosh, you probably look like a psycho right now.

Your breath was ragged as you gasped for air. People could assume it owed you money. Once you get enough you look up and freeze.

Oh shit.

“Oh hey Lou,” you say sheepishly. You were grateful you hid the gift in your backpack. You look at them as you quickly adjust the flyaways from your hair.

So the birthday boy was already making his way up to the greenhouse to smoke. Oh crap!

Lou was hunched over fidgeting in their hoodie. Either from the withdrawal of cigarettes or from your dramatic entrance. They gingerly place a hand on your shoulder. Inspecting if you were okay. You weakly gave them a thumbs up. Flashing them your usual grin. Not before coughing up half a lung.

Maybe if you weren’t running with the speed of an Olympic runner but the grace of a toddler you would feel better.

“Hey, I thought you had today off? Unless they had you working on your day off, again” Lou pulled his hand away once he knew you were okay. Almost as if fearful of you. You almost missed the side glance he did.

You tilted your head. The elevator closed as it started to move up. Getting closer to your destination.

“Oh, I forgot something at the store” you wave it off. It was a decent excuse. You did technically forget something at your job. Rachel. Who was with everyone. Waiting to surprise Lou for his birthday.

But he didn't need to know that.

“A-hem”

You turn to look over at the deep baritone. You fail to notice how Lou tensed up at the voice.

Huh?

You see a skeleton!

The monster was below eye level. His head reached up to your chest from the look of it. You look down a bit. He seems to be styling a worn-out blue hoodie that looked more cyan from either the abundance of washes or from how heavily it was worn. You notice they wore a pair of pink Crocs. You couldn't help but grin at their cute little eyelights. Could the monster be shy?

A closer look and his smile was a bit tense. His eye lights kept shifting from you to Lou.

Oh! You were being super rude to this little fella.

“Oh Hey! Sorry, my name Y/n! And you are?” You offer them your hand. The monster stares for a moment. He reached out slowly.

PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT

You jump back from the loud sound as you hit the wall behind you. You blush embarrassed by the fart sound coming from the skeleton. The skeleton's hands were clenched around yours with a successful grin.

“Heh, the name's sans. Sans the skeleton. Guess you fell for the classic whoopie cushion…trick…always funny” The skeleton grinned as he let go. Revealing a whoopie cushion under his hands before tucking his hand back into his pockets. He fidgeted a bit eyeing you both for your reaction.

While Lou cringed and shook his head. It took you a moment to process it all. Partly shocked at his cheap humor. But that was overshadowed by your amazement that you failed to notice a pink whoopie cushion in his hand. You were sure you touched a smooth bone. Not sure how you missed something so small.

“Oh wow, that's so wrong on so many levels” You grin as you feel the elevator go up. Only adding more to your humor. You glance back at Lou to back you up. Lou offered you a cheap chuckle. And with it, you lean closer to the dude as you poke him.

“Aw come on thats one of my good ones”

DING

Lou was about to answer back when a hear a low laugh erupt from the monster

“Heh…heheh…heheheheeh”

The skeleton's sudden burst of laughter caught you both off guard. You puff your chest in pride while Lou seems to move closer to you. Almost fearful of the skeleton.

Lou stuck by you like glue. You flashed him a smile to ease your buddy. Signaling the monster was harmless.

It's rare to see a monster. But you’ve never seen a skeleton monster before. It surprises you with the abundance of monsters that come out of Mt.Ebbot.

“It's not that funny” Lou mumbled. His eyes shifted over to the door. The way he kept shifting between his heels let you know he was eager to leave.

DING

You’re not sure why it bothered you but Lou was acting a little cold.

Normally the dude is pretty casual when he's with the others . You didn't think Lou could be scared of monsters. You’ve seen him talk normally to monsters. No matter how rare they are in the mall. He always treated everyone the same. You’re not sure why he was so nervous about this skeleton. Was he freaked out by how a moving skeleton could breathe or by how short the dude was?

DING

You glance at the monster. He didn’t look like a human skeleton. His bones were far more rounder and cartoony. And the way he held himself was relaxed. Almost as if he had nothing to worry about. And yet his eye lights left you curious. They shifted so quickly you couldn't read the emotions they held.

Once Sans finally stops laughing. His eyes kept wandering over to Lou. While Lou placed his focus on some stray lint on his sleeve. It almost looked like these two knew each other. Sans didn't say any more, all he did was watch Lou.

DING

“Oh is this your friend, Lou?”

“Nope. Never met him before” Lou was curt with his answer. From how quickly he responded he was either not in the mood to tell you the truth or didn’t want to bore you with the explanation. The skeleton's smile shifted into a forced grin.

DING

“Oh well, I guess that's okay. So Sans, what brings you to the mall?” You nudged the skeleton “You here to try the new monster bakery?”

The skeleton stared at you and shook his head. He smiled as he shrugged.

Hmm maybe he wanted you to guess?

“Is it for clothes?”

“Nope”

“Food?”

“Nope”

“Okay i give up!”

DING

“It's because-”

“Dang it Y/n you hit all the buttons” Lou got your attention. He didn’t look at all sorry for cutting the monster off. He gestured to all the buttons pressed as you guys were going slowly up. There's 3 more levels before you make it to the roof.

“Shit sorry man. Walking up the flight of stairs would be so much quicker” You shrug as you gesture to Lou. It wouldn't be so bad and it would slow the birthday boy. It would give you time to come up with an excuse to go ahead and give Rachel the banner.

Feeling silly you dramatically bow gesturing for him to go first. Lou smirked and stepped out. You were about to step out when you felt the skeleton try to leave. Just as either of you could get out the door forcibly shut closed.

Okay, you're not an engineer but you're pretty sure elevators don't do that.

And soon the power went out.

Oh no not the dark.

~hello darkness my only friend~

You collapse under your knees. As the elevator dropped a few levels.

Where's Liam when you needed him!?

You could feel your heart race as your breath quickened. The fact that you were stuck in an elevator wasnt that made you panic. It was the darkness. If you didnt have power then would the help button even work?

“Sdfnsbebvikb”

It's so dark

“Snvkjnspiqmpdk”

Oh gosh what if you die from a heart attack

“Adaknk”

You can't die! You haven't met your true love! Or at least tell Fionna from work about your true feelings. That you fuckin hate her guts for using the microwave to heat her fish. Who does that?! Fishbitch.!

“flkjn?”

You feel something touch you as you look up. A pair of lights flash your way. No wait, those are his eyes!

“You ok?”

Oh, its the skeleton. His name was S-something! Crap your bad with names.

“Y-yeah um…just not a fan of the dark,” You say sheepishly. You feel his hand grab yours, the small whoopie cushion still in his hand. You unconsciously squeeze it as it makes small fart sounds. The more you do it the more you chuckle at the sound. It was a decent substitute for a squeaker.

In the dark you could only imagine what the monster thinks of you. He probably thinks you lost your mind.

“Is that calming you down?” Sans voice held a tone you couldn't describe. His hand held onto you while his free hand was rubbing your back

Wait when did he get so close?

You get up slowly as you feel him support you. His free hand snaked around your waist, giving you more support as you felt yourself melt under his grip. The height difference didn’t help. You were practically clinging to him. You hugged him as you felt overwhelmed by everything.

And today was going so well for you…

♤□○◇•◇●♡□◇●◇○◇◇

Sans has been planning for weeks to get some alone time with Lou. But his sweet boy kept dodging him. And he's not sure why?

He's a good datemate!

He watched over him in case he got lost. After surfing through his web history

Left treats for him at his house. After breaking and entering

Even made sure to make his LuLu feel safe and loved. ( By sneaking in and cuddling Lou when he was asleep to ward off bad dreams!)

But none of those worked to get Lous attention. And he was getting desperate.

He needed Lou to LOVE him…

He CRAVES his attention.

His TOUCH could make him feel whole.

On rare nights Lou would come over. And they would express their love to each other. Yes it was normally when Lou was at his saddest. Sans figured it was because he was the best at comforting him!

Totally Not because Lou just wanted a quick fuccc

Sans knew deep down Lou loved him. Why else would he keep accepting his affection?

Him and Lou were meant to be together!

That's why he made a plan! To remind Lou about their love. And to have a chance where Lou doesn't run away from him. Remind him that he needs him.

Lou might be able to fix the part of him that’s broken…

Sans looked at the elevator.

“Huh, I guess even I didn't see this coming” He glared at the door. The wires shouldn't have come undone yet!

He had planned to get himself stuck in the elevator with Lou. He knew Lou's fear of closed spaces. It was his ticket to getting some affection. Lou would cling to him as he reassured him everything would be fine. He only planned for them to be stuck for a bit. Blame it on his magic being low and would need Lou to let him nap and cuddle so he can teleport them out. And an elevator breaking down wasn't unheard of.

Just to have a moment alone with him.

He did it all in the name of love of course! All he needed was to remind Lou

Sabotaging the elevator was easy. All it took was a bit of work. And maybe help of his magic to cut the right wires. But sadly all of it was for nothing…

Sans was hoping to have Lou clinging to him. Instead he got Lou's Friend to keep him company. The human was a bit shorter than his love but far taller than him. He was used to holding Lou. So this human wasn't so bad.

Sans shifted a bit. Y/n hair moved a bit, letting out a pleasant scent.

tangerine? oranges? Pineapple?

Lous friend smelled like citrus.

Sans tried to move a bit more to hold her more comfortably. His phalanges rubbed against her bare skin. He shuddered at the simple skin contact.

Oh sweet deltarune her hands felt soft.

They were different from Lou. His sweet love grip was rougher while this human's hand was more gentle. Not that he minded either. Hell he would prefer their hands touching his peni-

“Um..sorry…About this. I just hate the dark.

He had to hold himself back from pulling her down so he could sniff her neck.

“Human…I mean Y/n how are you holding up?”

Oh gosh, why are humans so perfect?

“Y-yeah um…just not a fan of the dark,” Their soft skin was gripping him as he try to suppress his moan. All he could do was want to touch her. Feel her sweet body against his. He couldn't resist sliding closer to the human.

Wow she feels perfect for him.

Is that calming you down?” Sans tried to keep his excitment down. The human was still struggling to pay attention. Something he will keep note of for later. Just like he did for his precious Lou.

“Sorry again but could I keep holding on to you?”

YOU want to keep touching him? YOUR giving him access to touch you willingly? Who could say no to that?

“Don't worry about that, just relax and hold on” He didn't care if he didn't get help any time soon. The only thing he wanted was to keep touching this wonderful human.

He couldn't resist rubbing himself against her. While she was in a weak state. All he wanted to do was stay with this human. A new sensation was filling his soul. His grin tightened as ideas flooded his mind.

He is CRAVING her attention.

He is in NEED of her sweet scent.

He is looking forward to her TOUCH.

He didnt mind learning to be this humans ideal type. They look like the would love hik as much as he would love them. So obviously this was fate!! Maybe he needs 2 humans to feel complete. And what's wrong with adding one more. He would much prefer being sandwiched in-between his favorite HUMANS.
