Work Text:

It was a normal afternoon when Pac woke up. He didn’t have many plans, probably spend it with Richarlyson and Mike if they were up to it, explore some dungeons, and see if Ramón and Fit wanted to do some cookie quests together. The usual.

What he didn’t expect was to be greeted by a small letter on his nightstand the moment he opened his eyes.

Pac opened the envelope with care, being greeted by familiar handwriting.

‘Bom dia, pai! I hope you’re doing well. I planned a surprise for you, please come to spawn at your earliest convenience. I really hope you’ll like it :D

Love, seu filho, Ramón.’

Pac smiled, heart fluttering at the words he read. Ramón was truly something else in the best way.

He took a bit of time getting ready and leaving his home, making sure all his cats were fed and that his house wasn’t a mess but eventually he stepped outside and warped to spawn.

Pac brushed away the slight dizziness of the warping, putting a hand against the elevator walls near it, and waited for the world to stop spinning.

Once he seemed to be fine, he looked around, looking for brown hair with goggles but couldn’t find him. He looked inside all the available rooms, taking time to also check the bounties for the day but again, Ramón was nowhere to be seen. Knowing Ramón liked to play hide and seek when Fit woke up, he didn’t find it strange when he couldn’t find him immediately, taking the elevator to the second floor.

The loud sound of warping made his head snap as he looked through the offices of the federation, his son still nowhere to be found. He looked over the railing and down, waiting to see his son but spotted someone else, a smile opening on his face.

Fit was looking around the area too, his eyes trained and searching for something or someone. Pac could watch his boyfriend for hours if he was allowed to, but his curiosity took the best of him in the end.

“Oi, Fitch!” He called, waving his hand and watching as his boyfriend snapped his head up, eyes widening before they got soft again, making Pac’s heart skip beats.

“Oiii, Pac!” He waved, opening a big smile.

“Wait for me, I'll come to you”

Pac almost tripped on the way into the elevator from running as fast as possible. He barely waited for it to reach the ground before jumping out and running towards Fit, throwing his arms around him in a quick hug. “I missed you!”

“I missed you too, how are you?”

“Good, good! I woke up like, half an hour ago.”

“I see, I see. Any plans for today?”

Pac shuffled in his feet, “Initially no, I just wanted to relax you know? But I got this-” He pulled the letter out of his pocket, “I got this from Ramón. I was just waiting for him to appear but not yet so-”

“You too?”

Pac blinked, “What?”

“I also got a letter from Ramón,” Fit pulled a paper from his back pocket, made from the same paper and with basically the same words Ramón had written for Pac, “So, this surprise probably entails us both, huh?”

“Most likely, yeah, yeah. So, do we just wait?”

“I guess? There’s not much else. I don’t think Ramón is here yet.”

Pac looked around before turning and sitting on the elevator behind him, crossed legs and Fit just leaned against one of the pillars.

They stayed in silence for a bit and Pac focused his eyes ahead, watching the sky he could see from the outside from one of the open archways. The sun seemed about to start its transition into dusk, the light blues slowly getting darker.

Tiny footsteps coming from behind startled both men. They expect to see their son as they turn but are surprised by who rounds around the corner instead.

“Queso?” Fit exclaims, eyes widening as the penguin with a big chef hat approaches them both.

“Oh hey!” Pac waves at them. He remembers Queso a bit from the Carnaval event along with the other penguins, although he didn’t interact much with them, preferring to enjoy the festivities.

“What are you doing here, buddy?”

Queso blinked up at them before pulling out their notebook, quickly scribbling on it, and showing it to both of them.

‘Buenas tardes, Fit and Pac! Please, follow me.’

Pac and Fit looked at each other and back at Queso, slightly surprised by their words.

“Follow you? But-”

“We’re kinda waiting for Ramón, Queso,” Fit explained.

‘I know. Ramón has asked me to escort you both to a location as a favor.’

“Oh. I see. And is Ramón there?” Fit asked back.

‘That I cannot say, all I was asked was to take you both there and follow his instructions.’

“Oh. Well,” Fit turned to Pac, “Shall we?”

“Yeah, yeah. Knowing Ramón, it’s probably something incredible! Can’t wait to see it for myself.”

Fit chuckled and turned to Queso, nodding and following quickly behind as they started walking off away from the spawn.

The journey was a bit long. Wherever this surprise was, it needed Fit and Pac to walk a bit over 5 minutes. After what felt like a while, they finally arrived at the train station.

Several trains were posted at the station, but Queso quickly guided them to the right side and opened a door to one of the trains. The penguin signaled Fit and Pac to go inside while they walked towards the front of the train, possibly to operate the train for them.

Fit and Pac quickly chose their seats near the entrance and one of the big windows, one sitting in front of the other as they waited for the ride to start. Before they knew it, the vehicle started moving, leading them away from the station.

The ride to the mysterious end of their journey was quiet but in a nice and comforting way. Pac kept staring out the window, watching the scenery of the island change before his eyes, the quiet humming of the machine comforting his anxiety.

He knew deep down it shouldn’t make him nervous, Ramón, his nenê, was behind the whole surprise. But still…

He snuck a glance back at Fit, who was also looking out the window, his lips pulled in a tight straight line and his eyebrows scrunched, making that cute little crease that made Pac want to rub his thumbs on it and fix it.

Hazel eyes met black ones and Pac felt his throat dry and his face felt warm. He averted his gaze as quickly as it had met, fingers playing with the sleeves of his white cardigan.

“Where-” he clears his throat, “Where do you think Queso is taking us?”

Fit was quiet for a few moments, clearly thinking over his possibilities.

“I might have a clue, but…” he trailed off, eyes narrowing at something in the distance.

Pac looked in the same direction, watching the landscape become more spotted with red roses and pink trees. He looked back at his boyfriend, leaning slightly from his seat.

“Fit, what-”

The train's sudden stop made Pac get thrown from his seat, directly into Fit’s front.

Strong hands wrapped around his arms, stabilizing so he wouldn’t faceplant against his boyfriend.

“You okay?” Fit asked, helping Pac back on his seat but not letting go of his grip on his forearms.

“Y-Yeah.” He nodded eagerly, head still reeling from the sudden movement, “Thanks for catching me.” He felt his heartbeat quicken and his skin get hot under Fit’s careful gaze.

“No worries.” He pulled his hands away, and even though his cardigan had been between both of their skins, Pac already missed his touch, “I think it’s our stop. Let's go?”

Pac nodded, getting up and almost bumping into Fit as they exited to the corridor of the train.

Fit jumped down from the platform into the grass and offered a hand to Pac, helping him down to the ground.

Pac looked around, already taking notes of the ambiance around them. Tall trees with pink foliage, pink flowers of many types, pink benches, and many other decorations were also in pink.

“Oh, this place is so pretty!” Pac said, walking ahead of Fit, eyes jumping from one decoration to another before he gasped, “Fitch! There’s a- a- I forgot the name of it in English, damn, a-”

“A Ferris Wheel.” Fit helped, his hands in his pockets.

“Yes! That!” He snapped his fingers, eyes shining, “What is this place? It’s so cool and pretty!”

“It’s- uh, it’s the event grounds for the Valentine’s Day event from a few weeks ago.”

“Really? Then what-”

Queso ran past them, one of their flippers calling both men towards them.

Pac skipped on his steps, excited to see the event even if it had been finished.

He stopped right in front of the fountain, looking around and eyes stopping on the barrels at his right.

“Ooh! What’s this?” Pac opened, sighing sadly when found it empty.

“That’s where we left the letters that were supposed to be delivered, like the one I gave you.”

“I see, I see.” He closed the barrel and looked behind, the Ferris Wheel standing tall and his eyes shone, “We gotta go on it, Fitch!”

He grabbed his hand, almost lacing their fingers in instinct before pulling him towards the attraction.

Then Queso appeared in their way, head shaking.

“What?! Why not?!” Pac whined, a hand on their shoulder. Quickly they wrote in their little notebook and showed it to him.

‘I have a schedule to follow’

“What do you mean schedule?” Pac pouted and dropped so he could be face level with Queso who quickly wrote back.

‘I’m only one penguin, if y’all want to enjoy the event, please follow me.’

“But-”

“Come on, Pac. I’m sure we’ll get to ride on the Ferris Wheel later. Let’s just make this easier for Queso.” Fit put his hand on his shoulder and squeezed in reassurance.

“Okay, okay.” He pulled himself up to his feet before facing the penguin, “Where to, Queso?”

Queso smiled and nodded before taking a turn back towards the path of the fountain and walking further into the place, soon coming across various colorful booths with items on display.

“Oh yeah, I bought a bear backpack for Ramón here,” Fit said, looking at the items again.

“So that’s where he got his backpack, he loves it. I don’t think I’ve seen him without it ever since,” Pac giggled, “He’s so cute, right Fitch?”

Silence greeted him and Pac snapped his attention around, before spotting Fit talking to Queso in one of the booths further down, handing a coin bag to the penguin.

Walking towards them, Pac watched as Queso ducked down to get something from one of the booths.

Hazel eyes snapped on him as his steps got closer and nervously, Fit waved, cheeks flushed.

“You okay, Fit?” Pac asked when they were close enough and Fit leaned his back against the counter.

“Yeah, yeah! Just didn’t hear you over me and Queso talking business, you know?” He rubbed the back of his neck and Pac knew he was nervous about something.

He raised his brow, trying to decipher what exactly was wrong before his eyes fell on Queso who had finally come up from under the counter and poked Fit to get his attention.

His boyfriend’s eyes widened and he turned completely towards Queso, his body covering whatever they had fetched under the balcony.

Pac waited patiently as he heard Fit thank Queso before he turned to Pac, red in the face. His eyes fell from his boyfriend’s face to what he had gotten from Queso and was holding in his hands.

“Fitch!” Pac gasped, eyes widening and shining at the bouquet of red roses he was holding, “Are those for me?” He giggled, taking a step forward.

“Y-yeah, I wanted to surprise you but as always, I can’t hide anything from you.” Fit said, his whole face flushed as he laughed nervously.

Pac put his hands over Fit’s as they held the flowers between them, smiling brightly up at him, “I love it, you’re way too good for me. Obrigado.”

Fit pulled his hands away, fingers fidgeting with the ends of his scarf, “De nada, de nada. It’s the least I can do.”

Pac adjusted his grip on the bouquet, putting his forearm around it and holding it against his chest delicately. “Where to next?” Pac asked.

They both turned to Queso, who had jumped over the balcony, and started walking ahead of them towards a pink and red building."

Pac gasped for what felt like the thirty-first time since they arrived, skipping ahead of Fit as Queso struggled to keep up with their penguin waddle.

“Wait up, Pac!” Fit laughed, charging ahead and almost tripping on Queso in the path.

“Fit! They have a love tunnel!” Pac turned around and charged towards Fit, still holding the roses close to his chest.

“I know! Do you want to go in?”

Pac nodded excitedly, “I've never been in one, sounds fun!”

They watched as Queso carefully climbed up the stairs and sat on the front, head turning to look at both men expectantly.

Pac didn't need any other signs, almost skipping a few steps on the stairs and making himself comfortable on the yellow seat of the ride.

Fit arrived right after him, silently debating where he should sit, but when Pac patted the seat beside himself, he didn't wait much more before sitting where he was expected to.

Pac was practically glowing with excitement when Queso started the ride, feet kicking as he took in the surroundings around them, reds, pinks, and magentas blending and mixing in the walls of the tunnel, lightning bouncing off the walls into the water under them.

“This is so nice,” he said eventually when they entered the first section of the tunnel.

“I don't remember much of this one, to be honest.”

“Really? Why?”

“I was already kinda drunk,” Fit laughed, hands fidgeting with the cushion beneath him, “I was on the back while the others rode in the seats.” Pac was silent for a few moments before letting out a glorious loud laughter.

“I wish I could've seen that.” He wiped away a stray tear and dropped his hand in the space between both of them.

As soon as they reached the second session of the tunnel, Pac once again admired the whole environment created.

“This would look like a perfect place for a picnic,” he said, eyes catching on the big tree in the middle, “it's sooo beautiful.”

“Yeah.” Fit breathed out and Pac felt his hand cover his, in the small space between them.

If it had lasted for just a second, Pac would've passed it as an accident but Fit kept it on top of his hand, making Pac look at his boyfriend, whose eyes were already looking at him.

“You're not even looking!” Pac chastised him, eyes narrowing at him and pouting.

Fit just laughed, breaking the gaze they were sharing and slightly squeezing their hands together, making Pac’s heart race.

“Sorry, sorry.” He didn't seem sorry at all, “It's- you know, I can't keep my eyes off you. It's like second nature to me now.”

The way he said it dripped with honesty and took Pack off guard, feeling his face flush as he had just entered the Nether.

“Oh. Uhm- l-” English vanished from his brain, “T-Thanks?”

He didn't mean for it to sound more like a question than a statement.

Fit laughed at the sheer awkwardness and before Pac could register how his heart got lighter and lighter the longer he stood beside his boyfriend, Fit’s mechanical hand pushed a strand of his hair away from his face, tucking it behind his ear.

“There. It was getting in your face.” He explained and yet, didn’t take his hand off Pac’s face, holding his now very flushed red cheek.

What left Pac’s mouth was a string of sounds that his brain computed as words but they were definitely not words and it just worked to further his embarrassment.

He didn’t have a chance to try to redeem himself, as the light from outside flooded his eyes, signaling the ride had ended.

Fit pulled his hand away as the ride came to a stop, exiting the ride without a word.

Still reeling from what just happened, Pac tried to step out of the ride but almost tripped over his own feet, face flushed now with a different kind of embarrassment.

When he looked at his boyfriend, Fit was offering his hand to help Pac, who didn’t hesitate and grabbed it. Weirdly enough, neither of them let go when they were already back on the ground, Pac tentatively lacing their fingers together and Fit responding with a light squeeze.

Queso hopped down from the ride, standing in front of them, expectantly.

“Where to next, Queso?” Fit asked and their guide nodded and turned around, Pac and Fit following them back the way they came.

“Look, the sun is almost setting,” Pac said as they walked through the booths.

“Oh yeah, you’re right. We’ve been here for a while.”

“And still no sign of Ramón.” Pac sighed, “You think he’s okay?”

“Yeah, I’m sure. The kid is tough, he’ll come around when it’s time.”

Pac hummed in agreement, still thinking about it silently.

They kept following Queso, hand in hand until they were back at the fountain area and they turned to the right, the previous surroundings made Pac snap from his thoughts and he looked up, gasping loudly.

“It’s Ferris Wheel time!” He celebrated, eyes shining like a kid who had somehow found where their Christmas gifts were.

“Sure is.” Fit chuckled at his excitement, “And we’re both going to experience it first-hand.” He opened the door to the passenger car so Pac could step in.

“Wait, really?”

Fit nodded, closing the door and sitting right besides Pac, “Yeah, Ramón ended up going home because he was sick during the event and I didn’t want to do it without him so I just stayed behind.”

The cart started to move slowly, “Well, at least you finally get to do it, right? I mean, I’m not Ramón but I’d like to think I’m close to him in your list.”

Fit laughed nervously, “Yeah, yeah. You are. I’m-” he struggled a bit but Pac remained silent, letting him figure it out, “I’m… very proud to say I trust you just as much as I trust him.”

Pac smiled, hand reaching for Fit’s, whose knuckles were white from clenching his fist on his lap.

“Thank you, Fitch. This means a lot to me.”

Pac watched as his expression relaxed along with his hand, which changed positions to lace their fingers together, thumb rubbing against the back of Pac’s hand as the Ferris Wheel started moving.

Pac stared outside, the sun starting to fall over the horizon, bathing both of them in orange hues.

“So,” Fit broke the silence amidst the ride, “are you enjoying it?” At Pac’s questioning hum, he continued, “The event, I mean.”

“Oh! Yes! Everything is so nice, I’m glad I get to see it despite me missing the whole thing, you know.” He downcast his eyes.

“Hey,” Fit guided his eyes up with his unoccupied hand, “Don’t worry. In the end, we got the whole thing for ourselves. I see this as a definite win. Plus, we still have Brazil’s Valentine’s Day. We can plan something, make it a third date.”

“Third?”

“I mean- I thought today-”

Pac smiled and laughed, “I’m just teasing you, Fitch.”

“Don’t do that!” Fit chastised him in a teasing manner, pushing him away by the shoulder while also laughing.

“But, uhm,” Pac continued, “Yeah. I would be down for doing something on it. It’s on-”

“June 12th, right?” Fit completed, stunning Pac.

“Yeah! How- How did you know?”

“I read it during the actual event. Plus, uh,” He rubbed his free hand on the back of his neck, laughing nervously, “I remember it was Valentine’s Day when you called me ‘big daddy’ for the first time.”

“Oh!” Pac felt his face flush, “I remember I left you pretty flustered, didn’t I?” it was Pac’s turn to let out an embarrassed and short laugh.

“Yeah, it took me so long to find Ramon’s warp. I remember that, when we got home, Ramón and I talked about me getting a divorce from Spreen. It’s- It’s kinda insane that he’s been in it since day one.”

“Yeah, now that you say it, it’s crazy.”

They stayed in silence for a few more moments, ignoring the sunset and just looking at each other with warm smiles.

“I’m-” Fit started but the words stuck to his throat. Pac squeezed his hand in reassurance, staying in silence waiting for Fit.

Finally, he spoke, with a sigh and soft voice, “I’m glad. That it’s you, I mean. You’re amazing in so many ways, Pac. It’s- It’s still kinda unbelievable that you like me. It’s hard to accept that I-I get to have something good after everything, you know?”

Pac was silent for a few moments before throwing his arms around Fit and wrapping him in a hug.

“Yeah. I do. I do get it.” He whispered, voice filled with emotion. He closed his eyes when Fit returned the hug, hands clinging to Pac’s back.

The sudden jerk of stopping popped the bubble around them and they looked, finding themselves at the highest point of the ride, with a perfect view of the twilight.

“Uau…” Pac breathed, mesmerized as he watched the expanse of the land under his eyes, “It’s beautiful.”

“Yeah, I agree.”

Pac turned to the older, only to find soft hazel eyes looking at him.

“Y-You’re not looking at the sunset.” He said, cheeks flushing, a hazy sense of déjà vu passing through his mind as Fit just smiled. The realization of how close they were hit Pac like a bull had just been dropped on his head.

“I’m not.” He breathed out, like a truth he had longed to tell. His hand was once again on the side of Pac’s face, thumb rubbing against red and hot skin.

Pac exhaled, his breathing already shallow from expectation. Fit’s hand once again didn't leave his face and his hazel eyes kept changing positions, mostly landing on his lips.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of crimson and gold, Fit stood here, bathed in the soft, amber glow of the fading day. The light caressed his face, highlighting the curve of his smile and the warmth in his eyes. Shadows played gently across his features, adding depth to the tough beauty that had always captivated him.

Every heartbeat seemed to align with the rhythm of the universe, drawing both of them closer.

“Pac, can I-”

Pac took the jump, fisting both his hands, the bouquet he held now falling to the floor, on Fit’s scarf around his neck and pulled until their lips touched. The sensation was electric, a spark that ignited a fire deep within them both.

Initially, it only lasted a couple of seconds of dry and cracked lips mushed together and they parted.

A beat passed before Fit pulled Pac by his face and crushed their lips once more, eyes fluttering close while both hands cupped the side of his boyfriend's face.

At that moment, time seemed to hold its breath. The dusklight wrapped around them, cocooning them in a private universe where nothing else existed, just the two of them.

Pac closed his eyes along with Fit’s, hands moving from holding him by the scarf so his arms could wrap around his neck, bringing their bodies as close as he could. It was a kiss that spoke of promises and possibilities, of a future that beckoned with the glow of a thousand sunsets. It blinded them to the world around them. At this moment, nothing could take their minds off each other. They didn’t even notice how their ride had slowly started to move again.

Pac parted his lips slightly, a silent invitation that Fit took without hesitation and even responding by letting out a sound that Pac almost didn't register until moments later. It was amazing how Pac’s body didn't combust on the spot from how hot he was running.

Pac cursed every Goddess that somehow had made him a creature in need of oxygen to live as he pulled away. If he could, he would survive by kissing Fit alone.

He rested his forehead against Fit, hands snaking down to rest his hands around his chest, eyes still closed as he breathed in, filling his lungs again. He leaned into the touch of Fit’s thumbs which were carefully caressing his cheeks.

Finally, Pac fluttered his eyes open and was greeted by a charming blind smile and dilated pupils that made those hazel eyes he loved looking at just a thin ring around it.

He giggled, leaning his head against Fit’s chest, body tingling in its entirety as his giggles turned into a full-blown peal of laughter as Fit laughed along with him, the vibrations of his chest going straight to Pac’s heart and his strong arms going to hold Pac in a hug, chin on the top of his hair.

Neither of them know how long they stayed there, laughing and enjoying the afterglow of their first kiss.

Once it did stop though, Pac breathed in and turned his head to look at the sun, who was almost done setting on the horizon, letting the final rays of light shower over them.

It was comforting, being able to just cuddle with his boyfriend, watching the sunset in a carnival ride at a Valentine-themed park, even though they could barely see it from behind the trees now, but Fit and Pac continued just holding each other, not ready for the moment they had been waiting in anticipation to end.

When their cart arrived back down, Pac reluctantly let go of Fit, red in the face as the adrenaline subsided and the penny dropped, realizing what had just happened.

When he looked down, he saw the bouquet, which had suffered a bit of damage from being dropped and thrown around in the seat while they kissed.

Pac sighed sadly, picking up the bouquet and his fingers delicately adjusting the crumpled petals.

“I ruined your flowers, Fitch…” He said after moments of silence.

His boyfriend scooted closer to him, wrapping a hand around his waist and pressing a kiss to his temple, soft and sweet to make Pac melt again.

“Hey don’t worry, okay? They were, like, 500 coins. I can get you as many flowers as you want.” Pac pouted, leaning into Fit’s side, fingers still trying to fix the flowers.

They were startled by Queso knocking on the ride’s door, impatiently waiting for them to exit. With a laugh, Fit tightened his hold on Pac’s waist, leading their way out.

The stars were twinkling above them when they found themselves staring at the fountain in the middle of the plaza, the lanterns bathing the whole area with pink, white, and red hues.

Before either man could say something to each other, they felt something heavy collide against their legs, making them look down.

“Ramón!” Fit gasped, seeing the little kid hugging his legs, a big smile on his face.

Pac was ready to laugh but then felt someone collide against his leg that, unlike Fit, immediately recognized.

“Richas!” Pac laughed at the way his son was already trying to hang off his hip, “Que ‘cê tá fazendo aqui filho?”

His empty hand ruffled his curly locks as Richarlyson looked up with a wide and toothy grin.

‘Pai!’ he signed.

“What are you two doing here, huh?” Fit asked with a teasing but curious tone in his voice.

‘Dad, pai, did you enjoy your date?’ Ramón asked, eyes shining as he clung to Fit’s pant leg like a bur.

“Yes, Ramón. I think we enjoyed it a lot, right, Pac?”

Pac felt blood rush to his face at the question but regardless, he nodded and instinctively locked his fingers with Fit and squeezed his hand, watching as his boyfriend’s face got red too.

Pac saw Richarlyson roll his eyes but kept a smile on his face while Ramón beamed up at both of them, turning away to look at Queso who had passed by the group and was now sitting on the fountain, putting their flippers on the water and splashing it.

Pac watched as Ramón and Queso signed at each other, with Ramón thanking them for doing the favor and Queso smiling back. They shared a quick hug before Queso said their goodbyes to the family and left.

‘Pa!’ Richas pulled on Fit’s shirt to get his attention, ‘Can we go? Me and Ramón are hungry.’

Fit was a little stunned for a second, still not used to Richarlyson acknowledging him as one of their parents, but smiled, ruffling their hair just like Pac had done earlier.

“Yeah, sure, Richas.” He turned to the man beside him, “I think we’re done here, right?”

Pac nodded.

‘Wait, Dad.’ Fit stopped when Ramón also pulled on his shirt, ‘Go ahead with Richarlyson. I want to talk to Pai.’

Fit raised a brow but didn’t question, kissing Pac on his forehead and untangling his hand from his and replacing it with Richarlyson’s small hand and leading him back to the train. Pac felt his chest constrict in the best way as he watched them go.

‘Pai,’ Ramón signed, pulling on his cardigan sleeve.

“Oh, yes, Ramón?”

‘I have a surprise for you!’

“Another one?” Pac smiled when Ramón nodded, holding back his lesson that he didn’t need to give him anything else, bending his knees to get to his height, “What is it, then?”

Ramón smiled, taking his bear backpack off his back and rummaging through it before pulling out a bunch of printed pictures and giving them to Pac.

The first few ones he recognized were pictures from the original event, with all the kids running around in pink clothing, including Ramón with a pink mustache. He mentally squeed at it. He shelved the need to ask Fit if he had solo pictures for later.

The next ones were different, it was pictures of Fit and Pac talking in spawn earlier, the letters Ramón had given to each of them in their hands.

His eyes widened as the pictures changed to ones of them riding the train, sitting facing each other and looking out the window, walking around the entrance of the event grounds, and several others of them together, including Fit giving him the bouquet and them sitting next to each other on the love boat.

Pac had half the thought to ask how Ramón managed to remain unseen by them until he got to one of the last pictures.

It was taken from a higher angle, Fit and him could be seen on the lower cart and they were kissing. Pac felt his entire face heat up, looking at Ramón who still kept smiling mischievously.

“R-Ramón!” He pulled the picture close to his chest, hiding it from view, “How-”

‘You two seemingly turn off all other senses when together. Richas even called you from the tree to test if you would notice and you didn’t.’

Pac spluttered sounds out of his mouth, face somehow going redder in embarrassment, “I- You- You two were in the Ferris Wheel?” Ramón nodded, even though it was likely a rhetorical question since Pac had physical proof that Ramón had been in the cart behind them.

‘There’s one last picture’ he signed and Pac pulled it up.

It was a picture of Fit and him walking away from the Ferris Wheel just minutes before, Richas could be seen on the side partially hidden and rolling his eyes.

‘Do you like them?’ Ramón asked, almost shy as he shuffled his feet around, avoiding Pac’s gaze.

Pac looked again at the picture, focusing on the way Fit smiled, hazel eyes soft when looking at him.

After a few moments, he opened a soft smile and kissed the top of his head, wrapping his arms around him.

“Yeah, nenê. I loved it.”
