Work Text:
Grian hated eyes now.
They were everywhere, and he knew they were there even as he looked around and saw only void around. He knew the void he looked at was looking back, and its gaze was stronger than his, and if he continued to stare he would blink first.
Eyes. Eyes everywhere, watching, watching, watching. Grian’s eyes, watching.
Grian thought he never wanted this. But then why had he gone into the end portal? When the Watchers offered an outstretched hand why had he taken it?
Maybe this was his fate. To watch, watch, watch.
Grian really hates eyes.
