   Summary

   Leaving the bustling city behind, Ji Yeonwoo, a 27-year-old PhD researcher in marine biology, joins his professor, Dr. Seong, on a vital conservation project on a remote Korean island. There, he meets and slowly falls for the island's nature, its people, and especially Dr. Seong's enigmatic son - Seong Taehoon.

   As Yeonwoo navigates his demanding job and new romance, he stumbles upon a smuggling operation involving endangered marine species. Determined to protect the creatures he's come to study and admire, he gets entangled in a dangerous investigation that ultimately tests his love, courage and resolve.

   The story is inspired by André Aciman's novel "Call Me By Your Name."
