Chapter Text

The chill of the morning air nipped at my face as I stepped onto the ice. The rink bathed in the soft glow of the early dawn. It was 7 am the perfect time to skate without any distractions, the ice was pristine, untouched and mine.

I took a deep breath, the cold air filling my lungs and began my warm-up. My skates cut in to the ice creating a rhythmic, soothing sound that echoed around the empty rink. I focus on my breathing and my movements gradually picking up speed as I glided along the ice.

I was quite determined to perfect my quad axel, It was the most challenging jump I’ve performed in my whole career, I’ve spent hours practising pushing my limits and finding my technique to be able to successfully execute the jump so this time of the morning was quite ideal for an intense practice

I positioned myself, feeling the familiar surge of adrenaline as I launched into the jump, time seemed too slow down as my body twisted and turned in the air, the world spinning around me. I landed my skates biting into the ice with a satisfying crunch, not perfect but nearly there chan.

From the corner of my eye i see2 guys, one of them seemed seriously agitated, he marched to the edge of the ice shrink and yelled at me
“oi get off the ice!! team has to practice now!”

I wondered what team he was talking about, but I decided it didn’t matter. I scoffed and rolled my eyes irritated by the interruption without saying a word skated off the eyes purposely taking my time I could feel his eyes burning into my back it pissed me even more.

as I walked out, I heard more voices to fill the space. I didn’t look back and assumed that it was the rest of his team arriving, I didn’t care who they were. I had my own goals and no one would get in my way, I would just be back later to interrupt them when its my training slot.
