   Summary

   Today, the story of Steve Rogers is the same as the one we know, except for one detail: Bucky Barnes actually died from his fall in 1944.

   Cap has no hope left, and his grief has consumed him relentlessly for years. But now it's all too much, and the abyssal precipice that threatens to engulf him became a too real menace.

   The young Scarlet Witch offers to help him grieve by bringing his companion's spirit back to his side for a few minutes, but it seems Steve can't bring himself to let him go again.
