After Joel's death, Ellie is set on her quest for revenge. She disappears from Jackson in the middle of the night with no intention of letting anyone stop her. Everyone knows that her current state makes her dangerous, and no one from Jackson goes after her, no one except for you. You know it's a suicide mission, especially considering everything that's happened between the two of you. The shared glances, the tension that's been there ever since the two of you first met. But beyond that, she believes that you played a role in Joel's death, and you don't know if anything in the world can mend such a gaping wound. You don't even know if Ellie's the same person anymore, and you find yourself questioning if she'll even let you speak once you find her or whether she'll kill you on sight.
