Summary
The old guard of the Tojo saw Goda as a joke because they didn’t understand him. Men like Nishikiyama and Goda would replace them before they were even recognised as the threats they were, and then they would go to war against each other so that the yakuza could once again know power and pride. There were no dragons amongst the men who joked about the punk making a mockery of the Omi. So - when the name of a true dragon was spoken amongst them, Nishikiyama listened, even when all it came to was a nasty implication about the way Goda treated his women.
Goda Ryuji won’t give up until he gets what he wants, and then he leaves. When the two of them finally met, Goda told Nishikiyama that what he wanted was him, and Nishikiyama thought - he really is insultingly honest. But he was also handsome, in an unexpected way, and his confidence was arousing, and he had a good smile, so Nishikiyama decided that he wanted him too.
