So, he picks the little elf up and deposits him on the bench at his side. “Halsin!” Astarion complains, but Halsin ignores him and asks, “Astarion, what is this?”
“What do you mean what is this?” Astarion snaps, dusting invisible wrinkles from his clothing before he crosses his arms, chin sticking up in the air as he glares up at Halsin. “Perhaps you’re unfamiliar with the concept of sex. Shall I explain it in graphic detail?”
“My heart, I wish us to speak plainly,” Halsin says patiently. “You have not expressed to me that anything has changed for you."
“Gods, you’re dramatic sometimes!” Astarion complains. “I was just—I thought you might want…” Astarion tuts. “I was thinking maybe we could try.”
