It's been a bit since Dirk escaped from Blackwing for the second time in his life. He has his own agency now, his own friends. Theoretically, he has space to enjoy himself.
This is difficult to do when he knows that Blackwing is still out there, and Todd can tell that something is off. Dirk, however, has never been one to readily admit these kinds of things.
