Harry Hook looks up at the notorious school known as Auradon Prep, He has just returned from a summer adventure with his Father, James Hook, and was asked to join Uma as her vice principal. He was very excited to see his best friend again and help the new villain students integrate into the school. His Father came today to see his son in the welcome ceremony before heading back to the Isle.
“Today is the day, my son. Your new life of snotty teenagers and academics. I wish you luck to keep your sanity. “ said James as they walked to Uma’s new office with Harry’s trucks.
“ Well, I appreciate you coming today. It will be good to see a familiar face beside Uma. “ said Harry as they entered the main hall. Some families give dirty looks as the two men walk the halls in their pirate office with James’s clothes being a nicer fabric of brocade silk in red and black leather accents.
“ Of course my boy. It will be good to see Uma again. That girl is always so spirited. Ursula will appreciate an update for her.” said James as they arrived at the principal’s door. James knocks the door gently with his gold-plated hook.
Uma Opens her door and smiles at the sight of her partner in crime and Mr. Hook. “ Finally you are here. Come in come in. “ said Uma letting them. The two men head in and stack the trucks.
“ So how was your trip? Got any good loot to share?” said Uma dressed in a new outfit. It was like a more mature version of her teen pirate outfit with patterned silk and squid accents.
“We did get some loot but only one thing for you,” said Harry pulling out a highly decorated hair comb adorned with teal and blue sapphires. It is decorated with coral and an undersea kingdom. “ We think it may be Atlantean. Found on the shores of a siren’s island. “
“ Oh, This is lovely. Thank You.. “ said Uma as she put the comb in her hair that is styled in a high ponytail.
“ No problem love. It was either you would get it or your mom and Dad got banned from her bar again,” said Harry looking at his father who is looking at the portraits on her walls.
“ Hey, it is not my fault. She put squid on her menu and I wanted to try it,” said James looking at Carlos’s portrait.
Uma and Harry walk over to James. “ This is a very nice portrait of him. I am glad to see him here,” said James. James knew Carlos in his youth and his passing left a hole in the heart of the Isle.
“ Of Course. He would have been so excited for today. Well, enough sappy time. We have a ceremony to lead. Mr.Hook You can go and have drinks with the parents and new students. One of my pirates will take you. “ said Uma wiping a tear away.
“ of course dear Best luck with today. I will see you after the ceremony. This should be interesting. “ said James being led out by the pirate crew.
“ Alright Harry, You ready? “ said Uma
“ Always love,” Harry says and holds out his hand to her.
Outside in the main Auradon courtyard, Red and The Queen of Hearts walk to check-in.
“ Red You must remember that Love Aint It and You need to Keep Yourself. You are better than these peasants.” said the Queen writing their names on a clipboard to check in.
“ yeah Mom sure,” said Red rolling her eyes at her mom
“ Bridget? I didn’t expect to see you here.“ said a beautiful woman dressed in a blue ball gown with a young girl beside her.
“ Ella…. It's your Royal Highness now.” said the Queen Of Hearts scoffing at Cinderella’s informality.
“Of course. You must be very proud” said Cinderella smiling softly at her
The young girl next to Cinderella hops over to Red smiling “Um, hi! I’m Chloe Charming. You must be Princess Red of Wonderland. I’ve always wondered what it’s like over there.” said Chloe
Red smiles and says” You should come sometime. I’ll introduce you to the Jabberwocky.”
“Fun! What a Jabberwocky?” said Chloe excited
“A monster who eats annoying girls,” said Red walking with her mom away from the Charmings.
“It okay baby,” said Cinderella to Chloe who frowned at Red’s comment
“So, you knew her?” said Red following her mom curious
“ I saw through her Cinderella and I were classmates,” said the Queen looking around
“No way.”
“I spent way too much time in this place so, I had to escape”
“Okay.”
“The people here might smile but they’re two-faced and too fake “
“Wait, you went to Auradon Prep?”
“Nope, wasn’t even called that yet,” said the Queen spotting some familiar faces
Over with Chloe, she is mad about Red’s Rudeness
“Wow, that girl was super rude What’s her problem? What’s her deal? “ said Chloe staying with her mom
“Some people act mean at first ’cause they’re too afraid to feel It’s survival, it’s protection That’s why roses grow their thorns, “ said Cinderella watching the red duo
“Come on, whose side are you on? The only one worse than her is her mom “ Chloe gestures at the queen
“ Look, hon, back in high school a mean prank was played And ever since that fateful day she was never quite the same It’s a shame “ Cinderella looks at the queen with pity
“ What happened? Is it okay to ask? “ Chloe asked
“ We came to celebrate the future, sweetie not dwell on the past,” said Cinderella getting them snacks.
James grabs some treats and looks out at the crowd coming in. His eyes widened at the sight of one specific redhead with another redhead. He is stunned. Wonderland is locked away. How is this possible? He drops the plates and decides to stay on the outskirts to avoid this flame from his past.
After a bit of time, Fairy Godmother gets everyone to sit with the Queen, Res, Cinderella, and Chloe take up the front. James stays to the side trying to blend.
“Attention, please. Oh, parents and students, it has been a great privilege to serve you. But the time has come for another to take my place. So please join me in welcoming Auradon Prep’s new Principal and Vice Principal.” Fairy Godmother says and some music is played.
A group of pirates come in with Harry Lead them and present Uma. They sing a short rendition of Whats My Name to introduce Uma and Harry.
The Queen plays her cards as Uma starts to speak.” That’s Principal Uma to you. And you better get it straight, or you’ll be walking the plank. “ Some people laugh awkwardly.
“ She is just kidding. She's just kidding. “ said Fairy Godmother seeing the look on some of her parents’ faces.
“ And this is my cocaptain. New Vice Principal, Harry Hook,” said Uma gesturing to Harry who does a dramatic bow at the soft clapping.
“I look forward to working with you and the students for a successful school year,” said Harry confidently.
The queen of Hearts’ eyes narrow and her cards get louder catching Red’s Attention.
“Now, We never got the chance to go to Auradon Prep. But as its captain, I’m proud to be charting a new course into a bright future, beyond the old ways of heroes and villains. So, in that spirit I’d like to welcome Princess Red of Wonderland.” said Uma noticing the Queen as she introduced Red. The crowd claps softly.
Uma looks at the queen “Excuse Me, do you mind?” She said annoyed
Queen of Hearts smirks” Actually I do” she stands up.
““Mom what are you doing ?” Said Red.
““Oh just playing my favorite game. War!” Said the queen of hearts as she threw a group of cards in the air. The cards transform into soldiers and start to block the exits. The people run to exchange as Harry and Uma fight the cards
“Bibbi bobbi” the fairy godmother starts to cast her signature spell
“No,” said the Queen shooting a blast of power destroying fairy godmother’s wand.
This causes more chaos as the courtyard is completely blocked. James runs over to get Harry And Uma. He gets backstage.
““Come on you two. We need to get out of here.” James said as he helped get a card guard off his son.
“We have to stay and protect our students,” said Harry knocking a card on his butt
“Let go of me!” Uma yells as two guards get her.
“Uma!” Said Harry dashing at her but getting trapped by two more cards.
“I will save you son. I just need back up” he says dashing off to climb the walls with his hook
““So Dramatic! You act like you've never seen a coup before” said the Queen cackling.
“Mom this is too far even for you!” Said Red.
“Crazy that it’s taken this long. I have been waiting for years to be invited back into Auradon. So, thank you, Red. You finally did something useful.” Said the Queen smiling proudly
“I should’ve known this was never about me,” said Red bluntly
“Everything I do is for you.” The queen approached red with the crowd watching stunned
“That was my invitation. My school. My life.” Said Red tired of her mother.
“Someday, you’ll thank me,” the queen says and smiles .”And we’ve already seen the ending. Spoiler alert…We win!” She cackles.
James reaches the top of the wall watching it. He watches the queen of hearts both terrified and amazed at The Queen’s Power.
“Stop it! Bridget.. you are better than this! ” Yelled Cinderella who was blocked by two guards
“Let her through!” Said the queen and the guards let her through.
“This is too far. I know that what happened was hard for you, but that was ages ago.” Said Cinderella sympathetic
“It feels like yesterday to me.” said the queen her face twisted in pain
“It was just a stupid prank,” said Cinderella
The queen steps closer to Cinderella.”Stupid, I could forgive…..Humiliating a girl at her first dance, turning me into a monster in front of everyone……Now, that’s just cruel.” The Queen says
““You’re right,” said Cinderella looking up at her.
“You Didn’t care then. You were off with your prince. Ooh, but you will now. You will all show me the respect I deserve! Get back! Now Kneel!” Said The Queen screamed and the crowd mumbled at this command
“ I will never kneel to a tyrant,” said Cinderella and the crowd gasped.
“She denied a royal Order! What do we do about that, darling ” said the queen pulling red to her side
“Look, all you have to do is swear allegiance. Is that so hard?” Said Red trying to help Cinderella.
“If it means compromising everything I stand for, yes.” Said Cinderella Standing tall
“Who are you loyal to, Red?… These strangers ..or your mother? Hmm? Now make me proud, for once.” Said the queen to her daughter
“Come on, Bridget, even your daughter knows it’s wrong… She can’t do it.” Said Cinderella and Red stared her down
“ TREASON! ” said Red and the crowd started to freak out as Cinderella was taken away.
Chloe goes into fighting mode getting into a fight with Red. The two girls end up pressing a button on the Pocket watch Red had sending them to the past and Merlin Academy
