Image Descriptions:
Panel 1: Phoenix, wearing a plain T-shirt, locket, and Papa beanie, looks angrily off screen with a hand on his chest and says
"You were gone for a FUCKING YEAR, MILES! So forgive me for actually giving a shit when you up and left and made everyone think you were dead!"
Panel 2: Phoenix continues, his expression slightly softening but still angry,
"Every day that you were gone, I MOURNED you, I GRIEVED for you!"
Panel 3: Phoenix continues, looking remorseful, "Every day I asked myself what I could have done differently to get you to stay, to reach out for help, or at least tell us that you were alive."
Panel 4: Phoenix looks sympathetically off screen and says "I don't know what you're going through, and you don't have to tell me right now, but I worry about you, Miles."
Panel 5: Phoenix looks anxiously off to the side with flushed cheeks and says "I care about you so much and it worries me sick thinking that you might run off again because of something you can't handle. I just..."
Panel 6: Phoenix turns his head and squeezes his eyes shut, trying and failing to hold back tears, he doesn't say anything.
Panel 7: Phoenix looks off screen with a soft vulnerable look and says "I can't lose you again, Miles."
Panel 8: Phoenix dons a slight smile, still sympathetic, saying "I won't let you go so easily like that ever again."
Panel 9: Phoenix looks away nervously, saying "I won't pressure you to talk, I'll give you some space since that seems to be what you need right now."
Panel 10: Phoenix' hand reaches to grab Miles' hand, Phoenix says off screen "But, please, Miles please just..."
Panel 11: Miles Edgeworth, mostly wearing his courtroom outfit but with the cravat removed as well as a pair of rectangular glasses, looks surprised, sad, and remorseful with flushed cheeks and watery eyes. From off screen Phoenix says "just promise me you'll stay.”
