The Daily Voyages of a Captain and His Crew
Summary:
Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its five-year+ mission: to explore strange new worlds; to seek out new life and new civilizations; to boldly go where no Captain and his crew have gone before!
Notes:
I've loved the original series since I was a young teen watching it for the first time in the '60s. (Okay, I admit I've aged myself!) :)
This fan fiction will consist of drabbles based on "Star Trek: The Original Series." The first set of chapters will closely follow the canon of the original show, with some slight variations. There are additional lines that weren't included in the series, as well as the characters' thoughts. Later chapters will explore post-canon and non-canon scenarios.
The first 79 chapters will be in transcript style.

BOYCE: Not for you. A man either lives life as it happens to him, meets it head-on, and licks it, or he turns his back on it and starts to wither away.
PIKE: Now you're beginning to talk like a doctor, Bartender.
BOYCE: Take your choice. We both get the same two kinds of customers. The living and the dying.
SPOCK [on monitor]: Mister Spock here. We're intercepting a follow-up message, sir. There are crash survivors on Talos.
Pike and Boyce are inside the turbolift.
PIKE: I prefer only one type of customer, Doctor.
BOYCE: Oh?
PIKE: Yes, the living.
