It was a Monday morning when Jisung's alarm went off. Great, Jisung has dance practice which he usually looks foward to, but his head is killing him. Jisung grabbed his phone and checked the time. The screen lit up and the time 8:45am was displayed. It's too early for this.
"Jisung? We have practice!" Mark called out. Jisung lets a out a groan. Really at 8am in the morning...Jisung was glad that he doesn't have to get up early for school anymore but now he has to get up for daily practices, so Jisung rolled out of bed to take a look at himself in the mirror. His hair was disheveled, dark circles under his eyes and he looked paler than usual. Sighing, Jisung changed into some black trackpants and a white long sleeve, not forgetting to put on makeup and a cap to hide how much of a mess his hair and face looked.
Once he was done, Jisung left the room to see his six hyungs. "You're late" Mark stated. Jisung only sighed. "You good Sung?" Renjun asked. "I'm okay" Jisung responded. Renjun only nodded, slightly worried as to why Jisung was later than usual. Meanwhile, Haechan was too busy choking a screaming Chenle to even care. Mark sighed. "Let's go everyone"
The way to practice was alright. Jisung leaning on Jaemin's shoulder as Jaemin drinks his Americano. Mark was sitting near the driver, Renjun was reading a book, Jeno was listening to music, Chenle was leaning on Jeno, and Haechan was actually quiet for once. Jisung sighed again.
They arrived at the practice room and Mark started to go over what songs they needed to practice for the upcoming performance. Jisung sighed again. "So we need to work on songs such as Glitch Mode, ISTJ, Hot Sauce and Go" Mark stated. "But we will also work on songs such as Dive Into You and Hello Future" Mark added. Jisung lets a sigh of relief. Those songs don't sound as bad as something like Glitch Mode or Go. He'll be fine, he thinks.
The first song they practiced wasn't too bad, it was Dive Into You. The choreography is easy compared to what was coming in Jisung's way. The next song they practiced was Hello Future. It was okay for Jisung so far, he's danced to harder choreographies in worse conditions. The next song however was Glitch Mode. Great, he has to do the dance break whilst his head is still pounding.
Glitch Mode was going okay so far, the choreography was very hard hitting and strenuous. Jisung was still keeping up with the beat and choreography but showed less energy than usual. Jeno took a glance at Jisung worriedly. Jisung just gave him an okay sign. Jeno didn't go further in that small interaction. The practice went on for what seemed like a long time even though time hasn't passed as quickly as Jisung would've liked.
The dance break was coming and Jisung thought he was able to do it but as soon as he started to put all his energy into the footwork, he started seeing dark circles and the room was turning black. Jisung knows what's coming; he's going to faint. As soon as he started falling backwards, he was expecting to hit the ground but instead, he felt strong arms holding him. Jisung at this point couldn't even register who caught him from hitting the ground. The room was spinning and all he could see were black circles. He could hear some worried shouts but couldn't put a name as to whose voice was shouting.
"Jisung! Are you- JISUNG!" Renjun shouted but cut himself off as soon as he saw Jisung fall into Jeno's arms. Renjun took a glance at the scene. The music stopped. Jeno was holding Jisung. Mark was grabbing water whilst Jaemin was grabbing a cold towel. Chenle and Haechan were stunned at the scene. Renjun observed the scene once again before making his way to Jeno and Jisung. "Ji...Jisung are you with us?" Jeno asked. Jisung could barely respond. Renjun touched Jisung's forehead. "He has a fever" Renjun stated. Jeno looked at Jisung worriedly. "Ji...don't push yourself too hard...I know the performance is soon but you're clearly not well" Jeno stated.
Mark comes back with a water bottle with Jaemin holding a cold towel. Jeno lays Jisung down as he thanks Mark and Jaemin for grabbing the necessities. He puts the cold towel on Jisung's forehead as he observes Jisung slowly regaining consciousness. "Jisung you worried the hell out of Renjun and Jeno...you're not well at all" Haechan stated. "I advise you to rest" Mark added.
As Mark was calling practice to be cut short, Jisung was fully conscious again. He looked at everything around him. No music was playing, he's on the ground and he's faced with worried expressions. "What happened...?" Jisung asked. "You fainted and Jeno caught you from falling" Mark answered. Jisung took a glance to the side and sees a worried Jeno. Great, he's made everyone worried.
As Mark was getting everyone ready to leave, Jeno looked at Jisung once again. "Do you think you can walk to the van or should I carry you?" Jeno asked. Jisung just clings onto Jeno. "That calls it! Jeno likes Jisung-" Haechan randomly says. "Jeno is just worried" Jaemin stated. "I'm salty" Chenle stated. "Okay Chenle likes Jisung-" Haechan announces. Renjun sighed. "Please go deal with your chaotic boyfriend" Jaemin says to Renjun. Renjun nodded before going to Haechan.
Once they are back at the van, Haechan is clinging onto Renjun. Renjun just sighs as he reads his book. Chenle listens to music. Mark sits near the driver again. Jaemin sits with Jeno and Jisung. Jisung leans on Jeno's shoulder and Jeno caresses Jisung's hair. Jaemin looks at the two worriedly. "Jisung if you're not well, you can just tell us" Jeno told Jisung. "But hyung..." Jisung started. "Jisung I know you want to do well but you wouldn't be able to do well when you're...not well" Jaemin added. "That's true, you need to be healthy physically in order to excute the moves" Jeno added. Jisung sighed.
The ride back to the dorm went smoothly; Chenle was dropped off at his apartment whilst Mark and Haechan were dropped off at the 127 dorm before the rest of the members were finally dropped off at the Dream dorm. Renjun and Jaemin went to their respective rooms whilst Jeno took Jisung to his room.
Jisung lays on his bed, the warm blankets are comforting yet suffocating. "It's kinda hot here.." Jisung stated. 'Do you want me to turn on the air conditioning?" Jeno asked. "Please do hyung..." Jisung responded. Jeno just nodded before turning on the air conditioning. He proceeded to grab a thermometer to check Jisung's temperature. The thermometer showed 38.5 degrees Celsius. "Do you have a headache?" Jeno asked. "Yes...my head hurts...a lot..." Jisung answered. Jeno left the room to go grab water and medication from the kitchen. Once he returned, he gave Jisung the painkiller and water. Jisung took the painkiller and went back to bed. "Need anything else?" Jeno asked. "Please stay hyung...." Jisung answered. Jeno nodded and sat on Jisung's bed.
Meanwhile, Renjun was drawing a picture of the plants in front of him, distracted until he gets a call from Haechan. "Hyuck?" He answered. "I was gonna ask how Jisung is...as Mark is currently busy writing lyrics for his solo work" Haechan explained. "As far as I'm concerned Jisung is in his room" Renjun answered. "Is he okay?" Haechan asked. "I'll go check" Renjun responded before quickly making his way to Jisung's room.
When Renjun entered Jisung's room, he finds Jisung resting in bed and Jeno by his side, reading a book. Renjun smiled to himself. Haechan's gonna love this. Renjun closed the door slowly before walking back to the dining area. He was about to tell Haechan about the cute scene.
"Jisung is fine, he's resting and he's with Jeno" Renjun answered Haechan's question.
"Wait...you saw Jeno and Jisung together???" Haechan exclaimed.
"Is that all you got from that? And yes I did, why?"
"I need pictures"
"I'll send them" Renjun responded before sending Haechan the pictures he took of Jeno and Jisung together.
"They are so cute~!" Haechan exclaimed.
"They are cute indeed" Renjun agreed.
"They always deny each other's feelings..." Haechan stated.
"You're not wrong...Jeno says he's annoyed with the teasing and likes to annoy Jisung but deep down, he cares for Jisung a lot and Jisung is too much of a fool to realise how much Jeno cares for him" Renjun stated.
"That's true...pretty boy a tsundere and cutie boy a fool" Haechan added.
"Indeed" Renjun agreed.
The two kept talking until it was time for lunch. By now, Jeno is sleeping and so is Jisung. Renjun glanced at the time. "It's lunch time now, do we have anything to eat?" Renjun asked. "I can make some soup" Jaemin answered.
Jaemin started cooking the vegetable soup. He cuts the onions, celery, carrots, potatoes etc. He makes a stock before putting the vegetables in the pot as well as some noodles. Jaemin diligently watches the soup cook as he scrolls through pictures of cats on his phone.
When the soup was done cooking, Jaemin grabbed some bowls and started to serve the soup, making sure each bowl had a sufficient amount of vegetables and noodles. Meanwhile, Renjun started to set up the table. Jaemin puts each bowl down as he sits down on one of the chairs. Renjun went back to Jisung's room and knocked on the door. "Wake up lovebirds, lunch is served!" Renjun exclaimed.
Jisung groaned as he woke up and did not believe who he saw next to him; he sees Jeno laying on his bed, sleeping, book long forgotten on his side and his long pretty lashes on display. "Hyung?" Jisung called out in a cute gentle voice. Jeno slowly woke up, long lashes blinking. "Hey Jisung" Jeno says in a slightly husky voice. Jisung blushed. His long time crush is next to him, looking pretty even when he just woke up. Jisung was screwed. "Renjun called us.." Jisung stated. Jeno nodded. "Let's go"
They both make their way down to the dining area, finding Jaemin and Renjun already eating. "Morning lovebirds, just in time" Renjun stated. Jeno sighed. Jisung blushed. They both sat down and started eating their lunch. Jisung was looking extra cute, even when sick. Jeno thought and sighed again.
Once they finished eating, Jisung clung onto Jeno once again. "Hyung...." Jisung whined. "Yes Jisung? Do you need anything?" Jeno asked. "You...hyung..." Jisung answered. Jeno nodded and took Jisung to the living room. He cuddled Jisung and caressed his hair. "You're cute, you know that right?" Jeno stated. Jisung blushed. "Hyung....." Jisung pouted. Jeno just smiles. "So cute" he states before squishing Jisung's cheeks. "Hyung is cute too...." Jisung admitted. "Hyung is also pretty, handsome, caring, sweet and cute" Jisung added. It was now Jeno's turn to blush. "I like you hyung...for a long time.." Jisung finally admitted. "I like you too, Jisung" Jeno replied before bringing Jisung closer and kissing his cheeks. "There..."
Jisung was a blushing mess, reciprocating by kissing Jeno's forehead. Jeno was now the blushing mess. They kept showering each other with kisses on each other's faces until finally Jeno leans in to finally kiss Jisung on the lips.
"I love and adore you, Jisung"
"I love and adore you too, Hyung"
Little did they know that there was a Renjun and Jaemin watching on the sidelines.
"It was finally time for them to confess" Renjun stated.
"I agree..the tension was painful at some point" Jaemin added.
Renjun texted the group chat about the incident, the chat was spammed with "finally" and "it was about damn time" from Haechan and Chenle. Renjun sighed. When Mark finally came in, he added "I called it! They are lovers!"
Jeno and Jisung had no clue what was in store next...
