“Do you…” The words are caught in his throat. “Do you need anything?”
Ranmaru hears a long exhale, like a sigh, but it’s so quiet that he isn’t certain he heard anything at all. Was it his imagination? He stands uselessly at the foot of Hinako's bed, waiting for a sign, waiting for something to tell him what to do. Seeing her in this state makes his heart ache.
“I… I’ll be here, okay? If you need anything at all.”
Hinako enters a depressive episode. Ranmaru and Anzu do their best to make her feel better.

One of my favorite depictions of a depressive episode, both from the perspective of the one enduring it and from their loved ones. Made me cry a little! Also includes hinako and ranmaru siblings :))
