Good Morning, Your Highness. Thank you for taking the time to do this interview. Your Royal Highness, your email correspondence with Alexander Claremont–Diaz was recently leaked into the public domain. How do you assess this situation and what is your opinion on privacy protection in the world of digital communication?
HRH Prince Henry: I'm a bit thrown by this, these emails were and are very personal and I am therefore, logically, very uncomfortable that they escaped into the world. Privacy is very important to me and Alex, and I am disappointed that it was violated. The digital world brings us many benefits, but it also presents privacy challenges. I think it is crucial to emphasize ethical behavior in the online environment and to ensure that digital communications are protected from unauthorized access. This incident reminds me of the need to do more to fight cyber threats and protect personal data.
I fully share your opinion, but now I would like to ask, how do you cope with the public interest in your personal life?
HRH Prince Henry: Of course, public interest has been a part of my life since birth. It's kind of scary, to be honest. The whole country and the whole world knows your name and you know what you look like. But I answered your question. if we try to keep our relationship as private as possible but also understand that we are public figures and with that comes a certain amount of attention.
How did you feel about the public's reaction to your relationship with Alex?
HRH Prince Henry: Of course the reactions were different and at first it was very difficult to digest, considering that I was mostly negative. But then I was very pleasantly surprised by the number of people who took to the streets to support us in this difficult moment. Of course, people have different opinions about our relationship, and that's their right.
So how would you describe your relationship with Mr. Diaz? How is it developing?
HRH Prince Henry: We have a great relationship. Alex is a wonderful person, we support me in everything, be it my charity events or personal hobbies. We have deep conversations together and share the same values and goals to create a better world.
I guess you share common interests. Can you tell us about a shared experience or activity you enjoy doing together?
HRH Prince Henry: We like to travel. And I will probably surprise you with this, but Alex and I like to learn to cook. Neither of us was very good at it before, but I have to say we are
advanced in our culinary skills. Cooking is an incredibly relaxing activity, I highly recommend it. We also support the same charity projects. We recently visited an education support project together and it was inspiring for both of us.
How did your family and close friends react to your relationship with Mr. Diaz?
HRH Prince Henry: We are lucky to have the support of our families and close friends. They are very important to both of us and their support gives us strength.
How do you see the future of your relationship with Mr. Diaz?
HRH Prince Henry: I see a future full of joint projects and more cooking together. We are both passionate about the projects we are working on and I believe we can make a positive difference in the world.
What is your common dream or goal for the future?
HRH Prince Henry: We have a common dream for a better world, especially in the field of educationand environmental protection. And also to create a pleasant environment for the LGBT community, to enforce laws allowing them to live as normal people and in safety. We want to continue to engage in charity projects and contribute to positive changes.
