A collection of my short story asks from Tumblr

Chapter 1: Wind & stick (suggested by SaviMatteo2810)

Chapter Text

Wind spotted the large log as he was walking. Okay, he tripped on it! But it was sturdy, and dry, which meant it would make good firewood when he met up with the Chain.

The trouble occurred when he tried to carry it. The stick was almost his height and then another half of that. He hated to leave it. "I'll drag it," he said to no one in particular.

So Wind picked up the stick, and dragged it along as he went.

Chapter 2: Sky & escape (suggested by UnexpectedStormy)

Chapter Text

Sky was pretty sure Four was bleeding heavily from the head wound he'd noticed. Sneaking was extra hard with his baby brother unconscious and only on his back because he was using the sailcloth to keep him in place. It really limited his mobility, and he could only hope their captors didn't find them.

He was lucky it wasn't Time that he had to carry, he thought to himself. Then his eyes were struck with the bright lights of the entrance of the long tunnel they were in.

He carried Four out of the mouth, and spotted a portal. He hated to take it while Four was so injured, but maybe it would take him to the others.

With a deep breath, he walked through... and almost stepped on a sleeping Wind. Twilight was at his side almost instantly, helping Four onto the ground. Warriors brought over a fairy, and the small pink orb fluttered around Four’s head.

She flew off, and the teen sat up, his eyes taking on a reddish color. "Thanks, Sky," Four said.

Sky smiled. "Anytime."

Chapter 3: Warriors & Light (Alicewritingstories)

Chapter Text

"He's coming around!" Warriors called to the others, noting how Hyrule’s eyes were fluttering.

Their mage opened his eyes, staring deep into Warriors' own. "Welcome back," Warriors told him, now unnerved.

"The sun," Hyrule murmured, "like a halo for you."

"Thank you," Warriors answered, his tone carrying some inquisitiveness.

"I never expected to be among the angels when I died," Hyrule admitted. Hyrule squinted against the bright light behind Warriors, "Hurts," he whispered, closing his eyes.

That club must have done a doozy, Warriors thought as he tucked his scarf around the teen like it was a blanket.

Chapter 4: Hyrule & Toast (suggested by individualperson8756)

Chapter Text

Hyrule looked at his plate, puzzled at the squarish brown thing resting on it. He could make out drizzled honey on top of it - whatever IT was.

"Hey, Wild?" he called out. The scarred hero turned to him.

"Yeah, Rulie?"

"What is this?" Hyrule asked, pointing to the item, before taking a bite.

Within seconds, Legend’s watchful eye was trained on him, concern etched into his face.

Wild laughed before answering, "It’s toast, Rulie. It's a breakfast food."

Chapter 5: Tiny Time, The Terror

Summary:

Suggestion was Time & map by ahanarhorse

Chapter Text

“Hey, Mask?” Captain Hairass-innocent-children-about-training asked.

Mask glared up at the man. “Not my problem.”

The captain sighed, and Proxi spoke up. “Do what he asks and I'll hang around you doing whatever you want me to do for a few hours.”

“I'm in. Your name is Navi now,” Mask announced, turning to Captain Link.

The captain pulled a map out of his pocket. It fluttered in the wind that Mask had not realized would blow it far, far away.

“I need a second set of hands to hold this in order for us to get back,” the Captain told him, “It’s just you, me and Proxi. And Proxi doesn't have hands.”

With a look at Proxi, Mask grumbled, “This better be worth it,”

He grabbed the lower edge of the map - the top was a bit too high - and the Captain had them back in time for Impa's cooking, which was somehow homey and like the meals Malon had made when he'd come to Lon Lon Ranch on occasion, despite it being pure war rations.

Chapter 6: Blizzard (suggested by nevermatch)

Notes:

No characters were suggested for this, so i picked my own

Chapter Text

“I can barely see!” Legend yelled to Warriors, his hands blocking the whipping snow from getting in his face, “And I'm freezing!”

“You have the fire rod,” Warriors told him calmly. “Also, you should consider some pants.”

“I refuse to take fashion advice from you,” Legend snapped playfully before swearing and adding, “Stupid blizzard!”

Warriors sighed and stated, “I guess one could say you're swearing up a storm.”

With a scream of rage, Legend charged at and tackled Warriors into the snow.

Chapter 7: From the LU server

Summary:

Chapter Text

"Ugh," Twilight groaned to the kids, "I need 50 rupees."

"You can just sell Talo," Malo and Beth suggested together.

Colin face-palmed behind them.

Chapter 8: Legend and Fishing (suggested by doofuss16)

Chapter Text

Legend hummed to himself as he fingered the fishing rod he'd borrowed from Twilight. The pelted hero had decided that Legend deserved a day off from dealing with the Troublesome Twins.

Legend pitied those back at camp as he put bait on the line and cast it into the water. Hyrule was an angel, so Wild was the problem. The blue-clad hero was simply a bad influence on his innocent Rulie.

The line tightened, something on the other end. Legend fumbled with the mechanism briefly before successfully reeling in a large fish.

It flopped on the shore next to him, and Legend thought it would make nice dinner for a portion of them. He pulled out his knife and put the poor fish out of its misery.

A loud crash sounded from camp, along with Twilight screaming every cuss word Wind had taught him, and Legend decided that he should head back and help with the gremlins.
