Elyan moves his arm up into position, his eyes focused on the target. He breathes in slowly, trying to calm his heartbeat.
It’s the last set and Ireland’s Gwaine got the nine on his first shot.
Elyan lets the arrow go.
It soars through the air hitting the yellow of the ten!
Gwaine hits another nine.
His second shot is off, and he hits the eight.
Gwaine hits his third nine, keeping the race tight.
Elyan needs another ten to win. He raises his bow up, pulls back the arrow and lets it rip.
He raises his arm in victory.
