Merlin Academy was having a welcome back assembly to bring in the new school year right. The gym was filled with excited students and positive energy. Except for five students that didn’t share the same excitement as the other students. They would have skipped the assembly but there’s always a possibility of someone embarrassing themselves at these types of things.
Uliana and her gang were at the very top of the bleachers, watching the assembly bored out of their minds. Well, Morgie was at least having fun, the four weren’t.
“I’ll be back,” Maleficent said before getting up from her spot and heading down the bleachers without waiting for any of her friends’ responses.
Uliana moved over to Morgie to get any information and ideas to prank people. While Hades moved over to talk to Hook, which is where Maleficent was sitting.
Hades and Hook were deep in conversation that they didn’t notice the fae came back and was glaring at the god who was in her spot.
Uliana and Morgie smirked, knowing this might get heated.
Maleficent cleared her throat to gain the boys’ attention which worked. “You’re in my spot.”
“Oh, I didn’t know you owned a spot,” Hades smirked, teasing the fae.
If he was mortal, he would have been dead from the way Maleficent is currently glaring at him, but he’s not and he’s actually the god of the dead.
“What do you want me to do?” Hades asked.
“Move,” Maleficent glared.
“Nah,” Hades grinned.
“Fine,” Maleficent said.
Hades watched Maleficent turn around, expecting her to cause a scene. What he didn’t expect was for her to plop down onto his lap and continue watching the assembly.
It took a few seconds for Hades to recover from the fact Maleficent was currently sitting in his lap. But when he controlled his thoughts, he wrapped his arms around her waist and propped his head on her shoulder to continue watching the boring assembly.
“This is nice,” Hades grinned.
Maleficent would never admit it outloud but it was nice but instead she kept her gaze forward.
Uliana, Morgie and Hook all smirked at the two close proximity. They hoped this would help the two to finally work out their sexual tension for one another and get together. Especially for Hook because he cannot deal with anymore talks between the two of how they feel about the other.
Unfortunately, that does not happen until another year. The two avioded talking about the lap sitting that day but it definitely grew their proximity with each other.
