“Morning sunshine,” Hades muttered into Maleficent’s ear. He usually doesn’t call her something that sounds so goody but the sun somehow shined just a bit through Maleficent’s curtains. It beamed onto Maleficent, making her look radiant and angelic, which she would kill him if she found out that he thought of her like that.
Maleficent woke up with a glare already on her face that the sun was slightly beaming onto. She’s going to have to spell the curtains to make sure zero light ever comes in. they already should have been doing that but it seems like they’re not good at the job. She pulled out her thoughts when she heard her boyfriend call her something so disgusting and heinous that she’s going to test just how immortal he is. She grumbled a series of cuss words in a variety of languages she knew under her breath. She was still barely awake and plotting schemes to properly say words.
Hades chuckled at her grumble. He knew she was probably plotting ways to kill him so he might as well try to calm her down.
“Alright, let’s try this again. Morning moonlight,” he said, kissing the spot behind her ear.
The new nickname took Maleficent’s breath away. She’s never heard anything like it and she likes it.
“Moonlight?” she clarified. She wanted to know what made him think of that.
“Yeah, you’re surrounded by darkness yet you still manage to shine,” Hades said.
Maleficent felt a blush crept onto her face. Hades smirked at the blush on her cheeks, feeling smug how fast he can change her moods.
“Fine, you get to live for another day,” Maleficent said, pretending she wasn’t blushing. Then she muttered, “Also, I like that nickname.”
Hades made a mental note to keep calling her that.
“Come on, let’s go terrorize some freshman,” Maleficent said, unraveling herself from Hades’ body heat and getting up to get dressed for the day. Hades stayed in bed for a bit longer to enjoy the view he was getting. He finally got up when Maleficent threw her bra at him but only to grab her and pull her back into bed.
Uliana, Morgie and Hook weren’t surprised at all when the couple didn’t show up for first period.
