   Summary

   The Terran Navy's desperate attempt to evade the Affini has led to horrific experiments, forcibly integrating human minds into ship systems with little success. Angelina Blade, a trans woman, one of the few survivors, retains her mind amidst the torment, and seeks revenge. Unexpectedly, she gets into contact with an Affini named Pollencia, who offers rescue. As Pollencia races to save Angel, they uncover the tragic extent of the Terrans' atrocities. With Angel's consciousness shattered but not lost, Pollencia vows to restore her to a life of safety and care. After all they wouldn't let their new floret suffer one bit. Especially like the little sprout that they snagged for themself.
