    Penelope Featherington has a boyfriend. That boyfriend is not Colin Bridgerton.

    Which would be fine, really it would. Except that two weeks earlier Colin Bridgerton, in a moment of tipsy madness, kissed Penelope Featherington and it’s tilted his whole world off its axis. Now they’re both pretending it never happened and Pen has a boyfriend and Colin may in fact be going mad. Even Eloise is concerned for him.

    Penelope is blissfully unaware that there's anything amiss. She's also impervious to hints or flirtations, thoroughly convinced Colin sees her only as a friend. If Colin wants her, he's going to have to lay his heart on the line in a manner so obvious even she can't explain it away.
