after Osamu's death Atsumu has (in his mind) no other choice but to join him, the miya twins had only ever known eachother so whats the point of carrying on if one of them was gone. the night on the bridge he had never felt more sure that it was the right thing until a warm gloved hand pulls him back over the railing, sits with him as he cried and silently tells him to go home. he re joins volleyball with the MSBY BLACK JACKALS and theyre loud and affectionate apart from one, Sakusa kiyoomi. the bitch didnt even say hello, or welcome to the team

Atsumu gets saved by a gloved individual in many ways, Sakusa doesnt know why but the voices in his head that normally go "dont touch that its contaminated" are now saying "miya Atsumu is not ready to die" all while his heart is giving all the signs of a panic attack whenever hes around the blonde setter, Fast heartbeat, sweating palms and the instinct to run. -
