   But the only person Satoru was below was God himself, and even then—what was he but a martyr counting down the days until his death? Destined to fall in battle, inevitably failing to protect those he loves because he was born for violence.

   But Satoru would be selfish if he didn’t use his power for protection, if he didn’t put his all into killing any force of evil that reckons with those he cares for, because he's the strongest, right? He has to, fulfill his purpose as a vessel and as a weapon.
