Work Text:

Patroclus leaned against the shower wall and pressed his lips together as he slid his hand down his cock. He'd been thinking of Achilles all day. Of his golden hair, his perfect face, and his brilliant green eyes. He was a bit embarrassed and ashamed to be getting himself off, but it's not like he had the courage to ask Achilles to do it for him.

His best friend was currently in his bedroom. Which was attached to the bathroom that Patroclus was in. They were sitting on Achilles’ bed and then he took of his shirt. It was over for Patroclus right there. Achilles had rolled back down and ruffled Patroclus's hair. Patroclus has been chewing the end of his pencil while doing home work. He told his friend he wanted to take a shower right as he let his eyes travel down Achilles muscled torso.

"Achilles..." he moaned a bit louder than he should have. Patroclus continued for a couple minutes and let out a few loud moans as he reached his climax.

Patroclus shuddered in pleasure and washed himself off in the shower.

"You okay in there?" Achilles knocked on the door.

"Just fine," Patroclus blushed furiously to himself and stepped out of the shower after turning it off. He slipped clumsily and fell down. There was a loud thud.

"Are you alright?" Achilles asked.

"Fine," Patroclus called out with a wince. He heard a sigh through the door.

"Coming in," Achilles said. "Unlock the door."

"No it's o-ok," Patroclus stuttered. "I just stubbed my toe."

"Either you let me in or I'm knocking down the door."

"Ok fine, give me a sec," Patroclus pulled on his boxers and sweatpants and wrapped himself in a towel. He went over and unlocked the door.

"You sure you ok?" Achilles asked. "You look flushed. Maybe the reason you fell was because you were dizzy. Do you feel sick?"

"I feel fine," Patroclus's voice caught as Achilles put his hand to his forehead.

"But you're burning up," Achilles fussed.

"Hot shower," Patroclus responded.

Achilles lifted an eyebrow. "Oh yeah?"

"Yeah?" Patroclus said unsure at what Achilles was saying.

"Let's sit down," Achilles suggested. He pulled Patroclus to the ground with him.

Achilles tugged at Patroclus's towel, but he pulled it tightly to his shoulders.

"Oh come on stop being stubborn," Patroclus loosened his grip on the towel obediently. Achilles tugged it off and dried Patroclus’s hair with it.

"You've been working out?" Achilles asked as he looked down at Patroclus's exposed body.

"Yeah," Patroclus answered simply.

"I like it," Achilles smiled as Patroclus blushed at that.

"You're so cute when you're flustered," Achilles lifted Patroclus's chin after he was done with the towel. "We've only been friends since kindergarten, but you do it often." Achilles joked, looking at Patroclus through his lashes.

"I-," Achilles interrupted Patroclus with a finger to his lips.

"So what were you doing in the shower?" Achilles asked mischievously. "You were making an awful amount of noise."

Patroclus's face reddened more as he stumbled for words. Achilles laughed.

"Who were you thinking about while you did it? That one girl from Biology?" Achilles smiled at his friend. "Doing something like that in my bathroom? How mischievous my dear Patroclus," Achilles put a hand on Patroclus's cheek and grinned as he tilted his head.

Patroclus's mind went into overdrive. It was muddled after the pleasure of what he had just done. Should he confess his feelings for Achilles right here? Would it gross him out that he thought of doing that kind of thing with him?

Patroclus had liked Achilles since 5th grade. Since he was 10 years old. It was time to tell him now.

"I was thinking of you," Patroclus whispered. Low enough that he thought Achilles hadn't heard. Shame filled him, and he closed his eyes so he wouldn't have to look.

Patroclus felt both of Achilles hands on his face now, but he refused to open his eyes.

"What?" Achilles said. "Me? Why would you think of me?"

Patroclus squeezed his eyes tighter. He could say that it was a dare, or he could come up with another excuse, but Patroclus was an honest person.

"Because I like you,” Patroclus paused for a second. He didn’t think that encompassed what he had felt every day for the past 7 years. “No. Wait. I love you. I've loved you since we were ten."

"Open your eyes," Achilles ordered.

Patroclus opened them reluctantly, waiting for Achilles to mock him. Instead, he felt Achilles’ lips against his. Patroclus  took it in. The sweetness and warmth from the kiss seeped into him, down to his bone.

"Patroclus," Achilles whispered as he pulled apart. He rested his forehead against Patroclus's. "I love you too."
