Rumours persist that King Rhaegar, motivated by old scrolls and ancient prophecies, intends to disown his eldest son, and instead crown his thirdborn. His son by his second wife, Queen Lyanna Stark, Prince Jaehaerys Targaryen. There are even more twisted whispers, allegations of sorcery against the King’s firstborn, the Princess Rhaenys. The House of the Dragon is one with a long and bloody history. They say that when a Targaryen is born, the gods flip a coin, and the world holds its breath to see which way it lands.
