Another day, another job — this particular day is cold, a little stormy. Impulse and Bdubs stand side-by-side in the sand, hands on their hips, staring at a house that looks like the next burst of wind might topple it right over.
“Oh, this thing.” Bdubs stares. “This thing is — no way. No freakin’ way, Impulse, we are not doing this. We’re gonna get sued.”
“We’re not gonna get sued.” Impulse flicks him — flicks him! The audacity! — on the temple, then continues trudging on up the sandy property toward the stairs. “Companies like ours do renos all the time, Bdubs. We’ve done renos. Come on — let’s get a better look at the property.”
