   Summary

In the heart of this tiny, quiet town, Alicent feels it fullest: no one knows her here. Not of her father, her husband, or her sins. It’s a limbo, not a new start—and somehow, the most peace she’s known in years.

Rhaenyra ruins all of it so easily, of course.

Alicent turns against her father, leaves an old life, and retreats to a small house by the lake. Rhaenyra simply can't stay away.

Or: what if i betrayed my father to secure your legacy and we were both girls
