"Christ, I cannot believe I'm in a room full of 18-year-olds - again," Brian grumbled, not hiding his annoyance.
"Come on, just suck it up, Brian."
"Suck it up?" Brian rose his eyebrows in amusement. "I'd much rather you suck my cock." He playfully pressed his tongue against his cheek, scanning Justin up and down.
"That can be arranged... later." Justin said promisingly. "Now dance, we already look too old to be here, we don't have to look stiff as well."
"Well, I am stiff, so..." Brian smiled with a shrug.
"I wouldn't expect anything less from you, but please, behave."
"What, you're worried I'm going to be inappropriate with all these students around us?" Brian cocked an eyebrow, giving him that 'I'm gonna fuck you' look that sent shivers down Justin's spine.
"Yes!" Justin nodded. "I know you too damn well. You love being inappropriate in situations like this."
"Well, it's not my fault you look like a snack."
Justin smiled his sunshine smile. "Thank you. I did my best."
"I see," he seductively slid his finger down Justin's tie. "You look really beautiful. Even more so than you did at your prom." Brian took a deep breath and pressed his forehead against Justin's.
The blond sighed softly, his eyes closed for a moment. "It feels like forever ago. And I still can't remember our dance. Fucking Hobbs."
"Then we better make sure you remember this one." Brian pulled him even closer and kissed him as their bodies moved to the rhythm. "You know, that was actually the first time I admitted to myself that I had feelings for you." He whispered, his voice sounding almost nervous.
Justin immediately pulled away in surprise. "Really? Huh. Took you long enough," he teased.
Brian rolled his lips in, and just by the way he was looking at him, he promised to spank him when they were alone. "I mean, I had my suspicions before, but that moment on the dance floor, when it was just the two of us and everyone else faded away, kinda sealed it for me."
Justin's lips stretched into a big smile and he gave him a tender kiss. "Thank you for telling me."
"Mm-hm," Brian smiled lightly. "Guess you can imagine how fucking terrified I was when that fucking prick almost took you from me," he looked down, clearly replaying the events of that painful night.
"But he didn't. I'm still here." Justin stroked his back in comfort. "And I'm not going anywhere."
"Yeah," Brian breathed, running his fingers through Justin's hair. "You're here and you're with me... seventeen years later, we're married and still madly in love. So fuck Hobbs. He lost and we won. Like we always do." Brian smirked in satisfaction.
"I couldn't agree more, husband." Justin squeezed his ass with a grin.
"Aach," Brian gasped. "And I'm the one who's supposed to behave?"
"What can I say?" Justin shrugged. "I can't take my hands off you because you look so fuckin' good in that suit."
"Thank you, dear," Brian let out a chuckle. "But you know what? I look even better without it," he winked.
"Oh, I know. I'm already looking forward to getting you naked." Justin bit his lip playfully. "Damn, aren't we the perfect couple?"
"Duh," Brian nodded. "And the hottest couple."
"Obviously," Justin giggled and rested his head on Brian's chest, listening to his heartbeat. "God, I can't believe he's all grown up," he said after a moment when his eyes found Gus. "And he looks so much like you."
"Great genes," Brian smirked proudly.
Justin laughed out loud. "You're so cocky."
Brian rolled his lips in, nodding in agreement before looking back at Gus. "I still remember the feeling of holding him for the first time. It feels like yesterday."
"Yeah, that was a fun night," Justin smiled widely. "You ended up with two kids."
"Mmm, and I never got rid of them." Brian faked an annoyed sigh.
And Justin immediately gave him a light punch in the shoulder. "Lucky for you. We're the best thing that ever happened to you."
"Yeah, I'm pretty lucky." Brian could only agree, his eyes soft, a smile on his lips. "But I'm also really horny."
Justin's eyes rolled in annoyance. "Brian, if you think I'm going to let you fuck me in the janitor's closet..." he paused, looking Brian up and down, licking his lips slowly. "...you're absolutely right," he chuckled.
"You're such a little devil." Brian smiled.
"Well, I learned from the master," the blond replied proudly.
"No doubt." Brian said with a satisfied smirk. "Do you think they'd notice if we snuck out?"
"Considering we volunteered to chaperone, I guess they would."
"First of all, I didn't volunteer, you forced me to, and second of all, isn't it fun to break the rules?" Brian raised his brows challengingly.
Justin took a deep breath and looked around. "God, we are so going to hell."
"What else is new? We better enjoy it while we can."
"Okay, fine, let's just do it. But it has to be quick."
"It's gonna be the quickest quickie of your life, Sunshine."
Justin giggled and Brian grabbed his hand and intertwined their fingers, ready to lead him through the dancing and slightly drunk teenagers, hoping no one would notice them trying to sneak out. But of course luck wasn't on their side.
"Dads!" Gus shouted from a distance and quickly caught up with them. "Please tell me you're not about to do what I think you're about to do." He said through gritted teeth, clearly embarrassed.
"Uh-uh," Brian cleared his throat. "That depends - what do you think we're about to do?" he crossed his arms over his chest and looked amused.
"Ugh," Gus grimaced. "Could you do me a favor and not ruin my prom, please? I don't want anyone making fun of me because you two couldn't behave for one fucking night."
"Language, Gus!" Justin warned him. "But yeah, you're absolutely right," he acknowledged.
"He is?" Brian shot him a look, his brows furrowed. "Great," he added quietly, seeing Justin's serious face.
"Just go enjoy your prom and don't worry about us," Justin smiled at him. "And make some memories."
"Thanks, Dad. I love you both."
"And we love you." Brian replied before Gus went back to his friends. "You weren't actually serious, were you?" he asked hopefully.
"That depends, do you want our son to hate us for the rest of his life?" Justin arched his brows.
"He's a teenager, he'll always find a reason to hate us." Brian pointed out. "But I guess he deserves a prom he'll never forget, and it certainly doesn't have to be because we got caught with our pants down," he acknowledged, but sighed.
"Exactly." Justin smiled and put his arms around his shoulders. "Let's just keep dancing, I want to remember this dance twenty years from now."
"I'll make sure you never forget it." Brian leaned in and kissed him sweetly. "But once we're home, I'm going to fuck you so slow you'll feel every nerve ending, even the ones you didn't know you had," his voice was low and deep.
Justin swallowed hard, his cheeks flushed. "Can't wait."
"Mmmm," Brian pushed his tongue against his cheek. "But right now let's just be regular, boring parents."
"I like that." Justin smiled excitedly. "We can start by guessing if the boy Gus has been giving his full attention to all night is just a friend or more than that."
"Hopefully just a friend, because if that's his taste in guys, I'm horrified."
"Come on, we still don't even know if he likes boys or girls, so we don't have to criticize his potential type."
"I'll try." Brian said while making a face, but soon that face grew serious. "Wait, is he doing what I think he's doing?" he asked with genuine concern in his voice.
"Oh my God." Justin gasped and felt his heart skip a beat.
Neither of them knew what to do as they were both in complete shock and unable to breathe or think, all they could do was stand and watch as Gus took the boy's hand and led him to the dance floor, right in the middle where they put their arms around each other and began to dance. They were terrified of the reactions and looks the others might give them, the mean words they might mutter under their breath, but still loud enough for Gus to hear. They were so afraid that someone might ruin this beautiful moment their son was having that they were prepared to protect him at all costs, even with their fists if necessary. There was no way in hell they were going to let some homophobic assholes ruin his day.
But to their surprise, none of the students even flinched at the sight of them. No one seemed to care or be disgusted by the two boys dancing together. If anything, anyone who glanced at them smiled. There was no Hobbs or anyone like him. No danger lurked around the corner. And Brian and Justin were suddenly filled with a tremendous sense of relief.
And once the two boys kissed all they could do was smile like two idiots.
"Um, is it just me, or does everyone here know he's gay?" Justin asked uncertainly.
"Definitely not just you. Seems like we're the last ones to find out." Brian sounded disappointed.
"If it makes you feel any better, I'm pretty sure Lindsay and Mel don't know either."
"Yeah, that makes me feel a hell of a lot better." Brian smiled satisfied. "God, he looks happy, doesn't he?"
"Yeah." Justin nodded in agreement. "Very happy."
"Guess I'm glad to be here after all."
"Told you. Gus will always remember this prom, and so will we."
Brian smiled and pulled him closer, the happiness evident on his face. Then his lips pressed against Justin's and he gave him one beautiful memorable kiss. It sure was a night they'll never forget.
